Jacy Smith

My name is Jacy, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing one of the hardest times in my life. I was laid off from my job and, despite my best efforts, I haven’t been able to find new work. On top of that, I recently went through a divorce, which has made things even more challenging emotionally and financially. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but right now, I feel like I have nothing to lose and everything to gain by reaching out to my community. The bills have been piling up, and I’m doing everything I can to keep my apartment and avoid eviction. I owe on other essentials, like my internet bill, and it’s all becoming overwhelming. Every day, I’m searching for work and trying to stay hopeful, but it’s hard to see a way forward on my own.
