My name is Monica, and I'm a single mom of three wonderful kids. Recently, I experienced a life-changing accident when I jumped off my horse and broke every bone in my ankle. The injury was so severe that I needed surgery, which resulted in 13 screws and 2 plates being put into my ankle. The recovery process is long and challenging, and it's turned my world upside down. Because of this injury, I am unable to work for the next 12 to 16 weeks and can’t do any of the side jobs I usually rely on to support my family. As the sole provider, being out of work is costing us the things we need most. The medical bills are already piling up, and I’m also facing extra costs for supplies, household essentials, and making sure my kids are taken care of while I recover. I’m reaching out for help to cover rent, medical expenses, and the everyday needs that keep our family going.
