My name is Shannon Ford, and I am writing this with sincerity, humility, and hope. For over twelve years, I have poured my heart into running my child care business, driven by determination and the belief that I could create something meaningful for my family and my community. Life has not been easy. After losing my husband of 25 years, I found myself raising four children while battling grief and depression. Even through those difficult seasons, I kept moving forward because I wanted to show my children that strength comes from perseverance.

 Today, I am proud to still be standing and serving families through my business, but I am also struggling. I have faced significant financial hardship—being taken advantage of, having money stolen, and even dealing with a CPA who placed my quarterly payments into another business’s account. These losses have pushed me into overwhelming debt, and despite my best efforts, I feel like I am drowning. I am reaching out not for a handout, but for a hand of support. Your help would give me the chance to stabilize my business, continue providing for my children, and keep building the dream I’ve fought so hard for.
