Daniel is a good friend of mine who is facing an incredibly difficult situation. While traveling from Turkey to New York, the taxi he was in was hit hard in a tragic accident. The impact was so severe that the taxi driver died on the spot. Daniel, injured and alone in a foreign country, was taken to the hospital by a kind stranger. He was placed on life support because he urgently needed a blood transfusion. For a week, his life hung in the balance as he waited for the blood he needed. After much praying and hope, Daniel finally received the transfusion and was able to come off life support.
I have been in touch with Daniel for the past two weeks, and while he is grateful to be alive, his journey to recovery is far from over. The doctors have told him that he needs back surgery as soon as possible, or he may never walk again. Daniel has no family or support system in Turkey, and with the American Embassy closed due to the ongoing war, he has nowhere to turn for help. The cost of the surgery is significant, even after the doctors generously waived the hospital stay and reduced the surgery fee as much as possible.
This is why I am reaching out to you. Daniel needs your help to afford the surgery that will give him a chance to walk again and rebuild his life. Any support you can offer will go directly to the cost of his surgery. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help Daniel during this incredibly challenging time. Your kindness and generosity can make all the difference.
