<div>My name is Sophie and I started <strong>The Planet Preservation Group</strong>. I have partnered up with CISLA (Communities In Schools Los Angeles) to provide sustainability presentations to elementary and middle school children. Every child receives a reusable cup after the presentation. <strong> My friends and I are super excited to start presenting and donating the cups at the 99th Street Elementary School next week, and we are hoping to reach 1,000 kids by the end of 2026.</strong>

<div>Americans purchase about 50 billion water bottles per year, averaging about 156 bottles per year for every person in the U.S.. <strong>By donating reusable cups to 1,000 children, there could be approximately 156,000 less plastic bottles in the landfills per year! Over 60 years, that is over 9 million fewer plastic bottles in our environment!</strong>

If anyone knew Lavonte, they knew he had the kindest spirit. Lavonte was more than just a friend , he was a brother to all of us . He was the peacemaker of the group and had the biggest heart . He didn't deserve to have his life taken away at just the age of 23. He was an amazing, genuine, smart, loving man that was well loved . We would love to bury our brother in the correct way . I set this account up to help support his family , anything will help .
