<div>Our sweet Ada was diagnosed with kidney cancer on Christmas Day. She is 3 years old and full of life. She is currently being treated in Denver at the Children's Hospital. Ada has started chemotherapy to shrink the 9 inch tumor she has growing on her kidney. The tumor she has is called a Wilms tumor. The cancerous tumor has also spread cancer to her lungs.

<div>After treatment the goal is to have the tumor surgically removed once the tumor has downsized appropriately. Ada will then need to undergo radiation treatments. This will include multiple trips from Rapid City to Denver. If you find it in your heart to donate to this very sweet young family that would be such a blessing. Ada and her parents have a long healing journey ahead and we want to support them as much as we can financially. Abby(mother) is a nurse at Monument hospital and Hayden(father) works in the Air Force.

<div>No one expects to hear that their beloved pet may be dying, but that is what my Aunt Liz learned earlier this week. Rocket, her five-month-old puppy and best friend, has been diagnosed with a life-threatening heart condition known as Pulmonic Stenosis. This condition occurs when the pulmonary valve is too narrow and restricts blood flow to the lungs, placing great stress on the heart.

<div>The treatment for this condition is balloon valvuloplasty, a procedure that involves opening the heart’s pulmonic valve to allow blood to be pumped from the heart to the lungs more efficiently. Since Rocket’s condition was detected early, his prognosis is very good if he undergoes the balloon valvuloplasty within the next few weeks. However, without this procedure, Rocket will not survive long.

<div>The cost of this balloon valvuloplasty procedure is $6,600.00, not including the cost of additional hospital fees, pre- and post-surgery exams, or travel expenses from her home in South Dakota to Colorado where the hospital is. Though she’s drawing on all of her available resources, it won’t be enough to save him in time. Please give this special puppy another chance at life by donating to his balloon valvuloplasty.

Save Rocket: Urgent Heart Surgery Needed

<div>My 5 year old nephew Maddux Reed fell off the deck and into the path of a riding lawnmower on May 31st. He was flown from Rapid City to Sioux Falls where they removed part of his foot. Unfortunately the skin did not heal correctly so they had to go to Denver Children’s Hospital for plastic surgery. Maddux has now had 6 surgical procedures and is looking at at least 2 more. He is probably going to have an amputation below the knee once they can clean up the infection he is now fighting. The family has been split between Rapid and Denver. Because so many of you have asked how you can help we started this go fund me page for uncovered medical bills, hotel rooms, meals, travel and future expenses to help with his ongoing recovery. Maddux will need to make several return trips to Denver.
