I can provide proof. I’m a single mother of two girls, ages 2 and 12, and I’m asking for help during one of the hardest times in my life. I am leaving an 8-year relationship because of domestic violence. There is a restraining order in place, and I have taken the necessary steps to keep myself and my children safe. I am self-employed in the construction field and have been working for myself since 2019. Lately, work has been slow, and the bills have piled up. I am behind on everything, but right now I am only asking for help with the most urgent needs that are threatening our stability. I need support for:Past-due rent: $2,200, because I have an eviction notice PSE&G bill: $1,300, because I have a shutoff notice As hard as it is for me to ask, I am doing this for my children. I am working and I will keep doing everything I can to provide for them, but right now I have fallen short and I need help getting through this emergency. I am trying my best to hold things together for my daughters while rebuilding a safe life for us. If you can donate, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to my family.
