Single mom of three sons. I'm starting over at 46 years old. I was married for 30 years and walked away from many years of abuse and domestic violence. I was 15 when I met my ex-husband. We share three sons; my middle son is currently serving in North Carolina as a Marine, and my youngest is getting ready to graduate from high school this coming May. I have no income and no savings. I was mostly a stay-at-home mom for many years, working jobs here and there while battling many years of nerve damage and a back injury. By the grace of God, that issue has gotten better, but I still have nerve and muscle issues in my left leg and foot. My ex-husband agreed to pay me monthly since our separation back in October of 2023, but now those payments have stopped as of May 2026. I have Section 8 housing, and after reporting my recent change in income, they just confirmed I still need to cover my rent portion. As of now, my rent portion is $982 plus a late fee of $50. Rent is past due for April. I have no money for gasoline, groceries, and my utilities. My electric bill is past due for $300, gas is about $100, and Internet is $130. Internet is a must for school, and my oldest son is taking 6 credits online for college. He is studying film production. He has been looking for work for months, but unfortunately, not one call back yet. My car needs two new tires, and the oil change is way past due. My ex-husband agreed to pay for 4 new tires but backed out of that responsibility. I was driving with a nail in one tire for weeks, but by the grace of God, I was able to get two new tires but still need two more; they are old since 2021. I have full faith in God that He is working everything out for my good, and I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ . Single mom of three sons going through many life changes. I was married for 20 years but together with my ex-husband for 30 years. I walked away from abuse and a very toxic relationship. God has given me a fresh start, and now I'm truly living for the first time at 46 years old. I don't have the current funds to help my son get to prom. He also wants to attend the Grad Bash at Universal Studios. His prom is next month in April, and the deadline to pay for the prom ticket is April 17th. I need $200 for his prom ticket, $200 for his Grad Bash ticket, plus money for food, and $250 to purchase him a suit, shoes, shirt, and tie for prom. I need $800 to $1000, I'm guessing, to cover the cost for everything. I'm currently out of work, but I have a ministry on YouTube that the Lord called me to do the last five years. This week is the last week I will be receiving family support from my ex-husband. Since we separated, he was paying $2600 a month, which covered our rent, bills, food, and other expenses. Honestly, it was not enough, but God has been helping us get through. I'm just waiting on the Lord and trusting Him. My current rent is past due, and other bills, and I need gasoline for the coming months to get my son to school. We live in California, so you know the gasoline is very high. I mainly want to set up this GoFundMe to help get my son to prom and to the graduation bash. I know the Lord has a good plan for me; I don't know what it looks like, but I know He will continue to take care of us. By the way, Elijah is a really good student; he's on the honor roll. Matter of fact, he's been on the honor roll since he was in the 6th grade. He is a good kid, and he is my youngest son. He really desires to attend prom and go to Universal Studios with his friends, and I have been reassuring him God will make a way. I appreciate all the help I can get.
