My father inherited his parents' cabin after my grandfather passed away. This cabin is more than just a building—it's a place filled with memories, laughter, and the spirit of my grandpa, who I miss dearly. We want to fix it up to honor his legacy and keep it in our family for generations to come. The repairs and updates are expensive, and while I'm helping my father with as much manual labor as I can, we need extra support to make this dream a reality. The cabin needs new siding to protect the logs, as some are starting to rot. We also need to replace the old windows and door, reinforce the beams where the boards are bowing, and update the flooring by removing the old carpet and installing new tile and rugs. On top of that, we're hoping to get a new fridge, microwave, and oven to make the cabin comfortable and welcoming for everyone who visits. Every improvement will help preserve the cabin and ensure it's a safe, special place for our family. I love this cabin and the land around it with all my heart—it's truly a second home and a paradise for me. Even though I might be young, I want to continue our family legacy and keep my grandpa's memory alive.
