Hi everyone, I'm Apple from the Philippines, reaching out with hope in my heart and a deep love for the animals in my care. As of today, August 3, 2025, I have 18 dogs and 53 cats in my care. I, together with these animals will soon transfer to our permanent residence but will be needing help to finish the area for cats and dogs. The dogs will be free-roaming inside the residential area but needs to have a secured fence so they cannot escape. The cats will be secured in a catio where they can enjoy the outdoor environment. 11 cats will be separated from the rest as they were heavily infected by FPV before. I just wanted to make sure there won't be cats who will get sick again eventhough their vaccines are all updated. Their catio is already done and also the dogs shelter in case there is rain or storm. The second catio for the other cats is already built but just needs plastering and waterproofing. While we’ve made a lot of progress, we urgently need your help to finish it and also the concrete fence to ensure the animals safety and well-being. Our location is very close to a superhighway, which makes having a strong and secure perimeter absolutely critical for the safety of the dogs. So far, I’ve managed to cover the sides of the fence using used roofing sheets as a temporary solution to save on costs. However, this material isn’t strong enough and could be broken through by determined dogs. To strongly secure the area and give them a safe environment to run and play, we need to build concrete walls and dog-proof gate which will cost approximately $3500. For the cats, the catio is nearly finished. What’s left to complete are the plastering and waterproofing the walls which costs around $700. Any amount you can give will bring us closer to creating a safe, permanent sanctuary for these animals who have already been through so much.
