Rasuwa Society USA Inc

A devastating flood recently swept through several villages in Rasuwa, Nepal, leaving many families displaced and in urgent need of assistance. Homes, belongings, and sources of income have been lost, and countless individuals are facing tremendous uncertainty as they struggle to recover from this disaster. My name is Sonam Tenzing, and I serve as the President of Rasuwa Society USA Inc., a nonprofit organization established to support the Rasuwa community and charitable initiatives benefiting people from Rasuwa, Nepal. I was born and raised in Rasuwa District and currently reside in New Jersey, USA. As someone with deep roots in the community, I maintain close relationships with local residents, community leaders, and families in the affected areas. Through Rasuwa Society USA Inc., we are leading this fundraising effort to provide direct support to individuals and families impacted by the floods and help them rebuild their lives during this difficult time. At present, we are continuing to identify and verify affected individuals and families and compile a comprehensive list of victims. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to provide immediate relief to families who have lost homes, belongings, or sources of income. This support may include food, clean drinking water, clothing, basic household necessities, temporary shelter, emergency living expenses, and other urgent humanitarian needs that arise throughout the recovery process. In addition, we hope to support children affected by the disaster, particularly those who have lost a parent or whose families are no longer able to afford educational expenses. Assistance may include school tuition and fees, uniforms, school supplies, books, educational materials, and other resources necessary to help children continue their education through high school despite the hardships caused by this tragedy. While many families have been affected by the floods, some have suffered especially severe losses. After carefully assessing each family's circumstances, a portion of the funds raised may be directed toward those facing the most urgent and critical needs to ensure assistance is provided where it can have the greatest impact. We are currently in the process of opening a bank account for Rasuwa Society USA Inc. Once the account has been established, we intend to transfer the funds raised through GoFundMe directly to the organization's bank account. Following review and approval by our Board of Directors, the funds will be distributed directly to affected individuals and families in Rasuwa, Nepal, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most. We will provide updates whenever possible regarding the use and distribution of funds. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible stewardship of every donation received.
