Dutch is a teacup Yorkie. Her story is a wild ride. Weighing less than 3 lbs, she is a super cute and lovable dog.

In July, we gave her a bath as normal and set her down to run free after being toweled off. She goes crazy and runs around with "the zoomies." After 45 seconds of letting her roam, we heard her yelp and cry. She had dislocated her shoulder. We took her to the vet immediately. She was casted by a vet for 4 weeks. The pain medicine she was on didn't help her cause at all. She wasn't really eating. We took her to another vet to find out her elbow was fractured and then put her back on medicine.

After a couple of weeks, I found her laying in bed, panting with a gray tongue and gums. We rushed her to the vet again to find her sugar was at 34, and she needed an IV and was very dehydrated. We managed her sugar with Karo syrup and water while we were transporting her back to the ER in another city. We amazingly got her there fast only to find out we had raised her sugar on the way too. She seemed fine, and with her sugar at 150, they let her leave only to be brought back the next day and have 6 teeth (that were swelling her lower jaw) removed. More medicine. More time. She can't maintain her sugar. She needs help.

We took her back to the ER and had admitted her for an IV. She is doing well. Transportation and funds are short. We are desperately trying to get her home. She was born in April 2025. She deserves better than I can give, and our family is devastated. Please share. All prayers are welcome. Any donation goes straight to her caretaker. My mother is currently en route to pick her up and help her heal, and she's going to need help. Please.

In 2021, our beloved Silky had passed away at the age of 15. We had him since 2008. Dutch has opened up our hearts again, and seeing her hurt is devastating. Please consider donating. *Update* Darling Dutchess had her liver surgery yesterday afternoon and doing well in recovery last night . The doctor said if she continues to she will be able to go home tomorrow. Dutchess will need to continue meditation and will need special food. In six weeks Dutchess returns for bloodwork , if the results are normal Dutchess will be a normal little puppy again!
