<div>Hi All! As many of you know the Trunnell Family has been faced with a tremendous obstacle!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jett (14) has been suffering extreme pain in his leg since March. Jett believed he may have injured it during wrestling practice. Jett's parents, Justin and Tiffany, have worked with Oakdale doctors and chiropractors to come to a resolve. Doctors overlooked a large tumor in Jett's hip after an x-ray that was performed at Oak Valley Hospital May 20th and recommended physical therapy before ordering an MRI. As the pain increased, Jett has visited his Oakdale doctor who reccomended schedulinng an MRI. An appointment was made for July 19th as scheduling was booked out.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jett's father recently relocated from Oakdale to Texas. Jett and older sister Kylie began a month visit with Justin in July. While in Texas, Justin was able to schedule an MRI, which was scheduled for July 8th. When the MRI results came back the doctors pointed out a massive tumor on Jett's hip. The doctors took this discovery very seriously and started on a fast track plan to get Jett care. From the looks of the MRI that was performed in Texas, doctors suspected Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). This treatment was followed up with bloodwork, a biopsy, port and PET scan.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tiffany along with her father, Randy, and daughter Kenzie jumped into a truck and drove to Texas to be by Jett's side and help plan for Jett's recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jett will be receiving treatment in Texas. This will be a great deal of travel and accommodations for Tiffany and family in California. This will require about 8 months of chemo. Jett is extremely close to his family and will need them by his side to keep his spirits up and keep him strong and fighting. The family has been met with support of family and close friends, but you can imagine the financial obstacles this can place on the family. We would like to take the burden of lodging and travel off the family while they go through this hard time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tiffany ( Boutiques at Tiffany's) has always supported our children's sports, fundraisers and has helped families in need in our community during hard times! If you are unable to help please pray for this family. If you know Jett personally, you know he is an old soul. He is polite, kind, and a true gentleman. He has a enourmous heart and the most loving smile. He is funny, gives the best hugs and always willing to help others. People of all ages enjoy Jett's company because he is kind hearted and loves to collect coins!

<div>On January 24, 2026, Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a Minneapolis resident and American citizen was executed on the streets of Minneapolis by ICE agents.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This fundraiser is intended to support the loved ones he leaves behind with immediate and ongoing needs. Because details are still unfolding, and to ensure the money goes to the right person, funds will not be distributed until we can verify next-of-kin and identify the appropriate family representative to manage anything raised.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If, for any reason, the funds cannot be transferred to Alex’s family, we will direct the total amount to the Immigrant Defense Project, a nonprofit that provides litigation, advocacy, and community-defense resources to help immigrants defend their rights and fight deportation.

3 Strikes and Cancer's OUT!!

<div> Hello all! This is Chris’s cousin, Ashley. I have gone ahead and opened a GoGundMe for Chris in order to help him and his family cover the medical costs and Chris’s living after his shark bite.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>On Friday, July 14th, 2023, </strong>at approximately around 3:15 in New Smyrna Beach, Chris and his friend were surfing the south jetty, when Chris was suddenly bitten and pulled off his board. Chris’s friend helped paddle him to shore to find help (thank you to Reece for helping save Chris’s life!) - Chris <em>sustained serious injuries to his foot and needed emergency surgery</em> that took a lil over 4hrs. The surgeon said Chris lost about 1 large Chick-fil-a sized cup of blood, and he <em>repaired 7 Tendons and a small artery which could not be repaired. The surgeon even found s shark's tooth stuck in his bone, but it was broken in order to get out. The sharks tooth actually fractured the bone.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Chris is currently still in the hospital for at least 1 more day before he can go home (but we have not gotten confirmation on whether or not he will spend a 3rd night). Right now Chris is doing well, but we have to watch for infection during this time AND when he is sent home with his stitched-up foot there is still a possibility of infection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Chris will be unable to work for what we were told a possible 5-6 months as his foot recovers. Chris has been going to UCF in Orlando and is a part of the UCF Surf team, surfing is one of Chris's favorite sports and he has been paying for his apartment and schooling with his job with construction/remodeling interior. Because of the accident, he has been set back in his savings for the cost of living, schooling, and his hope for joining the military after school. Chris’s mom will also be affected as she is helping with the medical costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Here is what we know so far:</strong> Chris has 6 weeks of being off his foot, having a cast, and only being allowed to get up and down to help blood flow, and to prevent infections. THEN he will have to start P.T as soon as he is cleared to do so. (We dont know if his insurance will cover this or how long he will have to do it for - im estimating Atleast 1 year)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are not sure what the total costs will be yet, So I estimated from online Surgeries that were not covered by insurance. And added a half years salary for 10k-20k. The actual costs could be more or less - we really are not sure at this time - especially seeing as it will be 2 months before Chris can start PT . AND we are hoping he gets approved for some assistance with the medical costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>we know for At least 6 months, Chris will be needing help &amp; support from his friends and family, and we hope that making a GoFundMe will help to fundraise some, or hopefully, all of the costs he needs to cover his surgery, hospital stay, recovery, and living.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>we hope to update here soon on any other info, but the family asks for prayer on quick healing, and for chris to have high-spirits in a time of uncertainty, while he endures a very painful injury.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>THANK YOU for wanting to help, </strong>and for reading thus far. We are hoping to reach a large part of our goal as the next few months play out.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>if you decide to gift a donation, we would love for you leave some words of encouragement for Chris if possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We will keep this GoFundMe up for Chris and his mom past his 6months of recovery in order to continue support for them at this time.

<div><strong>Sunday 7/16/23 Update:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ashley here! - here is an update from Chris's mom from last night-this afternoon.....
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>...Chris had a rough night last night as his nurses did not give him the right amount of pain meds. After a long night of pain, and a large meeting with doctors and nurses.... Chris is now resting. The surgeon came in to check on the wounds, and there was a lot of swelling, so he took off the bandages in order to help with pain management. The nurses who take bacterial samples gave a good update, but want everyone to know that it takes up to 5 days for infectious bacteria to grow....they are keeping a close eye on it. WHICH MEANS.... Chris is staying another night.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>** I launched the donation page today and we wanted to give a big shout out to a few of my friends who sent in donations today! <strong><em>Thank you so much for supporting Chris, he is not out of the woods yet**</em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>[I'm hoping to get some video updates from Chris when he is feeling up to it. I'm sure he has posted and responded to his friends on social media by now]
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>ALSO - as we progress I will update the costs, that way all donors will know exactly where the money will be going.

Chris’s SHARK BITE recovery fund

Hi everyone, this is the official fundraiser for Marlon Arcaina in hopes to raise enough funds for a beautiful service he deserves. Although his death was unexpectedly sudden and tragic, he loved being surrounded by the people he loved most like family and friends. To the people who have known him, he would be best described as hardworking, funny, always with a smile on his face, and family-oriented. Anything helps towards Marlon and his family, he was gone too soon but never forgotten as a loving husband, father, kuya, favorite uncle, pinsan, bayaw, and more. May he rest in peace, we love you.

A great man gone to soon!

<p>This fundraiser is for a a very special little girl. Her name is Scarlett. Let me tell you a little about her story. The dada and mama she knows are actually her uncle and aunt, Paul and Brittany. They had been married for about 10 months and had just begun thinking about starting a family of their own when they received a phone call from Scarlett’s mom. She was having some difficulties and needed them to come get Scarlett. They jumped in the car and drove straight there not having any idea of what was in store for them. They picked Scarlett up and scrambled to get what was needed to care for her for the night. That night turned into a almost a year now. They have legal custody but now want to take the next step and adopt her. They weren’t financially prepared to be overnight parents last October but didn’t give it a second thought. Now the attorney fees associated with adoption are beyond what they can manage. Their selfless act to take on this task is inspiring and has touched the hearts of many. That and the fact Scarlett melts just as many hearts prompted me to offer others the chance to show their love and support to this beautiful little family. We know there are many who may be struggling financially because of the current economy. If that’s you, all we ask from you is your prayers and good thoughts. We will be so grateful for those! If you can help monetarily, please accept our thankfulness from the bottom of our hearts! The amount we are looking to raise is based on the attorney’s quote for an uncontested adoption. If there is any fight the cost will go up. Again we ask for prayers.

<p>On May 22nd, Michael Wallimann was in a dirt biking accident that turned serious quickly. His friends made all the proper judgements and called 911. Despite wearing a helmet, he ended up being mediflighted to Sutter Roseville Hospital as it was the closest Trauma Center. As soon as he got there, he was sent into to receive immediate surgery on three brain bleeds. They removed a portion of his skull to relieve swelling and pressure. The doctors were also able to indentify broken bones on his face and broken ribs. He was intubated and sedated from when he arrived at the hospital.<br />Today, May 27th, Michael is still intubated and sedated and has yet to be able to have a steady process coming off the sedation medication. His swelling and brain all are showing great signs, but there is still tremendous progress to be made. Everyday is a test to see if he is ready to be taken off sedation to prepare for the next steps.<br />As of this time, we have no idea how his memory, speech, or motor skills will be effected by this. The doctors have prepared his immediate family for rehabilitation and months of recovery. <br />Unfortunately due to Covid-19 Michael’s family is not allowed to see him or be by his side during this unsure time.<br />Michael is so independent in all his endeavors. We are reaching out to help him continue this journey, as we know his medical treatments, rehabilitation, recovery, and current bills has and will be effected. He does have his own insurance, but he will not be able to cover this alone.<br />We appreciate all of the love and support, and will appreciate any donations that will be received. Please continue to pray for Michael’s recovery.

Michael’s Recovery and Medical Bills

The unimaginable occurred Friday morning and <strong>Hunter needs our help</strong>. Without going into too much detail, he was found under water and unresponsive. He was taken by helicopter from DMC to a Oakland Children's Hospital.<br /><strong>He is fighting for his life</strong>! His parents Justin and Lisa Eckles, along with his sister, are by his side and need our prayers!  They also are in <strong>dire need of financial support</strong> as they have been off work due to the recent passing of Lisa's mom, Cathy. It is very costly for them to stay together at this time. There are no accommodations available for the 3 of them to stay at or near the hospital. As you can imagine they do not want to be separated. <br />Hunter is the sweetest and most loving little baby boy!! The light of his mom and dads heart and his sisters best friend!  <strong>PLEASE donate and PRAY </strong><br />#hopeforhunter #prayforhunter<img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/30327664_15279731590_r.jpeg" alt="30327664_15279731590_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />

<p>My name is Jordan Smith, I live and work in Key West, FL. I operate the Key West Flying Club and am a volunteer for AeroBridge who's mission is to assist in times of catastrophic emergency by coordinating aircraft to provide a powerful, immediate response to disaster.<br /><br />Families have lost everything! We have pilots and people with aircraft who also live in the Keys who have volunteered their time and aircraft to help fly in emergency medial supplies to victims and first responders. <br /><br />These funds will be used solely to put gas into aircraft which will fly under the Aerobridge banner "Compassion Flight."<br /><br />Thru Aerobridge, we are relocating supplies from Austin, TX and staging them in Lakeland, FL. We are also picking up supplies all across the US and getting them ready to distribute to the Florida Keys from our base at Sun N' Fun at Lakeland, FL.<br /><br />The operational costs of these airplanes are being paid for by the pilots. Help us keep airplanes in the air by keeping them fueled to help save lives and deliver a glimmer of hope for the Florida Keys. As many of you know Spencer suffered a heart attack Thursday night while enjoying pizza and football with friends. Fortunately Spencer was at the home of Jeff Nunes who immediately administered CPR until paramedics arrived. Upon arrival to the hospital Spencer was put into a mediacally induced coma and therapeutic hypothermia treatment was started. This is to cool the body to bring brain tempture down to slow the rate at which brain cells die once they have been starved of oxygen. As of this morning the medical team is beginning to warm his body so they can wean him off the ventilator so they can begin to give him simple commands to see what his mental status is. Scott, Stephaine and Zack are very greatfull of the outpouring of prayers and support from you all. They family does have insurance coverage but as you know the out of pocket expense can be very over whelming. We are asking for monetary donations to help with Spencer's medical expenses. <br />Please keep them all in your prayers.

Brock Willenbrink is one of the many teens that were injured in the explosion while attending a pre 4th of July Celebration. He was hanging out with friends when somebody decided to throw a "homemade bomb" over the fence into a group of kids. Brock was rushed to the hospital by some of his friends. From the local hospital he was airlifted to Children's Hospital in Oakland where he underwent surgery. He has a fractured orbital bone, 2 torn tear ducts, lacerations to the eyeball, a gash to the forehead along with mulitple burns and puncture wounds to his neck, abdomen, arms and legs. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him when he is finally released from the hospital, he will have to travel daily to UC Davis to see the eye specialist. He also has more surgery's ahead for his eye and plastic surgery for his wounds. The family has been by his side since this happened and many have asked what they can do to help. The family would never ask for any kind of help but as their close friend I know that they only have self employeed insurance that doesn't cover much. So those that were asking I have set up this account to help pay for their travel costs and mounting medical bills. No amount it too small and anything would be greatly appreciated. Brock is a great kid that I have known for years and have had the chance to watch grow up. He is an honor roll student, active in leadership,  plays high school baseball and is working a summer job as an intern for the school district in the IT department.

I am hiking 90 miles (Camp Jack Hazard to Yosemite) of the Pacific Crest Trail (August 5th-13th) to raise awareness and money for Camp Jack Hazard. I consider myself extremely lucky to have grown up going to the mountains every summer to attend CJH. The journey for CJH has not been an easy one- and I am so honored to be connected with people who are so passionate and persistent about sharing this place with others. <br /><br />This year marks Camp Jack Hazard's 90th year, and I am taking on this great adventure in hopes it will help spread the word about the importance of CJH and the lasting friendships camp helps to form. I will be hiking with former campers, staff and strangers- one mile for every year of camp- and I am asking for support to help raise the tuition cost.<br /><br />I am asking for $1.00 for every mile that I hike. All of the proceeds go to the Camp Jack Hazard program and will help make it possible for us to continue sending youth to a program that I know changes children and young adults' lives. It no doubt changed, and continues to change, mine. <br /><img class="not-resizeable" src="http://3b4efb995be6c5c64252-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.r12.cf1.rackcdn.com/1355357_1406350580.7289_multi.jpeg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><br /><br /><br />Any contribution will be greatly appreciated!
