Hi, my name is James, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a situation that has become difficult to overcome on my own.
I currently live on SSI, and have physical and mental disabilities due to both spinal issues and suffering from chemo brain from very intense chemotherapy that affect my memory and concentration to my very limited ability to walk with a cane. I thank god every day I’m in remission. It’s just that now I’m missing appointments, limited ability to grocery shop and has made my life much more difficult without my own transportation.
I’m not asking for anything fancy—my goal is simply to raise enough for a safe and dependable used vehicle that will help me regain some independence and improve daily life.
My goal is to raise approximately $5,000–$8,000 to help cover the cost of a vehicle and the initial expenses. Or if you or someone you know has a vehicle that may need a little work to get it safely on the road.
I know many people are facing challenges of their own, and I don’t expect anything from anyone. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me work toward a little more stability and independence.
