Our brother, friend and colleague Daniel Mommens lost his ten year old son on January 30, 2020. Junn Mommens was born on January 8, 2010 and is survived by his mother Hitomi and two older brothers all of Japan. Junn enjoyed board games with his brothers, his swim classes and Dan's taco salads! Junn had been treated and hospitalized during the last year and died suddenly of complications due to seizures. Daniel had been spending quality time with Junn by flying and commuting between Japan and San Francisco during the last year and is so grateful for those moments. Let's help Daniel and his family heal by donating to the family. Although Daniel is back to flying, it would be nice if he could drop a trip now and then to help mend and find peace.

Let's Help Daniel

United family members lost everything in devastating fire. Nicole and Jeff Carmichael, a flight attendant and pilot team both based out of San Francisco lost everything in a devastating tragedy that reduced their house and everything they owned to a pile of rubble. They are both well known for their love of animals and sadly lost part of their furry family in this disaster as well. While the fire is still under investigation, two homes, several animals, multiple vehicles and outbuildings were destroyed by a 4-alarm vegetation fire on Saturday in Vacaville. What is known so far is that it was most likely sparked by a lawn mower. While Nicole was on a layover in Frankfurt, Germany, Jeff was home by himself in the attempt to save some of their animals and had to witness their entire house and possessions burning down in a matter of minutes. It is unimaginable what these two are faced with right now, dealing with the loss of their pets and home. Please let's stand UNITED in an effort to provide for at least some financial relief. Donate as little or as generously as you can. Please spread the word and reach out to anybody who might be able to help.Thank you very much.

In early March, 2017, our friend Michelle Rosenthal Parsons aka “Rosie” was diagnosed with breast cancer. On 03/14/2017, she had a lumpectomy and unfortunately, they found cancer in the lymph nodes. The same day that she got the pathology report back, and found that she was BRCA2 positive. This changed the treatment plan from just chemo and radiation to a double mastectomy and the removal of her ovaries. These surgeries will happen over the course of the next 12-18 months. On March 29th Rosie had a chemo port placed in her chest and will start chemo on Monday, 4/3/17. She will have five-hour treatments every 3 weeks for 5 months. Followed by radiation. To complicate matters, this diagnosis comes at a time when her husband (still recovering from several hospitalizations and health challenges) is still trying to recover. Michelle has not asked for any help (and will probably kill us for doing this), but we know that they have mounting medical bills and will be incurring many more in the next couple of years. Anything that you can do to help them out during this time is greatly appreciated. In the meantime, if you want to get a hold of Michelle, text is the best way to reach her, but be patient with her response. All money raised will go directly to Michelle and her family. If you can’t donate right now, just say a prayer for her and stand back while we watch Michelle kick cancer right where the sun don’t shine. If you have any questions, contact Lisa Ummel or Lea Lambert. Thank you and God Bless

Jessi has been my stylist for over 10 years and I often refer to her as my "hairapist". We have shared feelings and thoughts on every topic imaginable. When I met her she was already a beautiful, creative, joyful, kind and loving person. Over the years I have watched her evolve professionally from an apprentist into an independent, goal oriented, savvy business woman and salon owner. I just learned that Murphy, Jessi's four-legged furry soulmate, has been diagnosed with cancer. Jessi is committed to doing everything in her power to provide the best holistic and medical care available to give Murphy a chance at beating this disease. I know during this difficult time many of Jessi's friends, family and clients are sending her thoughts and prayers. I also know Jessi is a strong, proud woman who would never ask for financial support. However cancer treatments are VERY expensive, costing upwards of $10,000 or more depending on the number of sessions required. I have set up this fund in hopes to relieve some of Jessi's financial pain of Murphy's chemo costs so she can focus on giving hI'm the love and attention he needs. Any amount will help!

Help Jessi w/Murphy's chemo costs
