<div>❤️ Our Story &amp; Our Mission
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re so grateful you’re here. Together, as husband and wife, we are working to build something that’s bigger than us, a home filled with love, safety, and opportunity for children who have lost their parents. Our dream is to create a place where kids can be housed, fed, educated, and provided with the medical support they need to grow and thrive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal begins in Mexico, and with time, we hope to expand into every country in Central America, bringing hope to children who need it most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> How Our Journey Started
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before we met, this dream already lived in my heart. I had spent seven years as a single father after losing my children’s mother to cancer. That experience taught me how fragile life can be and how deeply children need love, stability, and guidance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Later, during a trip to Guatemala, I saw children on the streets selling candy just to survive. Kids with no safety net. No protection. No chance. That moment broke me in the best way, it lit a fire that never went out. I knew I had to do something!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And then… everything changed again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was months away from leaving the country with my boys to chase this mission full-time, when I met the woman who would become my wife. We connected instantly! Our values, our hearts, our faith, everything aligned. When I told her I would soon be leaving, she spent about a week thinking, praying, and listening to her heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then she made a decision that still leaves me speechless!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She decided to leave her city, her family and friends, her career, her job and her church. She chose to walk beside me. She chose to chase this dream with me! From that moment on, this became our calling!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> A Sustainable Vision
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve already taken our first big step: we purchased land where we’ll build commercial spaces and an Airbnb. The revenue from these businesses will fully fund the orphanage, covering housing, food, staff salaries, education programs, medical care, and future expansions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is simple and powerful:
</div>
<div>Create a self-sustaining system where every business we build fuels a home for children who need family, stability, and love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As we grow, we aim to open more facilities throughout Central America, reaching countless children across borders.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Why We’re Asking for Support
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Starting an orphanage is a massive mission- emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Your support helps us accelerate construction, hire trustworthy caregivers, and make sure every child who walks through our doors receives the love and security they deserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, big or small, pushes this dream closer to reality. Every share of our story helps us reach someone who might join this mission. And every prayer or word of encouragement strengthens us on this journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❤️ Thank You
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From both of us: thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for believing in a world where children are protected, cared for, and given a chance to become who they were created to be.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can change lives. Together, we can build something that outlives us. Together, we can give these children a future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>

Building Hope: A Home for Children in Need

<div>Hi! My name is Miki Suzuki and the Enomotos are one of our closest and dearest friends.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, their littlest one, Maya, started having headaches and was getting sick on and off for days. She was taken to urgent care and doctors, who could not figure out what the issue was initially. After a few visits to different doctors, it was discovered to be brain cancer. Maya has a couple of tumors which has yet to be removed as this is being written. She has been hospitalized since January 3rd and remains in the ICU, as her brain continues to bleed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you have ever met Maya, she leaves quite an impression! She is always full of energy, spunky, and as friendly as a little ten-year-old could be. She would dance, sing, and tell us stories of everything that happened that day - and everything that didn't that she wished would've happened! And now, to have the little spunky, sweet girl all quiet and in an ICU bed, is heartbreaking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Enomoto Family owns and operates Dakara Sushi Restaurant in Whittier, which has been closed since the new year. They have not been able to reopen, as both parents are at their daughter's side. Maya also has two older siblings, Jalen and Leila, who are being cared for by their uncle and grandparents. They have not been able to visit Maya due to Covid protocols in place at the hospital, and resorts to Facetime as a way to see their sister.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Enomotos are a generational basketball family. The dad (Jason) and uncle (Kevin) both played basketball in the Japanese leagues, and also as high schoolers (La Serna,) and now all 3 of the children play at various organizations in both LA County and Orange county (imagine their schedules!) They are also very active within the Japanese community centers, namely Southeast Japanese School, where they lend a hand whenever culinary needs arise.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am reaching out to everyone in hopes of supporting them in this time of need, as the medical bills start rolling in and their restaurant remains closed. All gifts are appreciated and will be used to keep this family going and to make little Maya's wishes come true. Thank you for your generosity.
