Rebuilding My Life as a Single Father
My name is Chase, and I’m a single father currently working to rebuild my life and move forward from mistakes I’ve made in the past.
I take full responsibility for my choices and the consequences that came with them. I’m currently in the process of getting my license fully reinstated, which requires me to install a blow box/interlock device in my vehicle for the next 6 months. I’ve accepted what I cannot change, and I’m committed to making better decisions for myself and my children moving forward.
Recently, the vehicle I depend on broke down. After replacing the radiator, I found out the engine has a blown head gasket. Right now I’m at a crossroads financially and emotionally trying to figure out how to keep moving forward while still being the father my children need me to be.
On top of these challenges, I also faced one of the hardest battles of my life when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. During a 4-year period of incarceration, I underwent surgery to have the tumor removed. Through the grace of God, faith, and perseverance, I was able to overcome that obstacle. That experience changed my outlook on life and reminded me how important it is to keep fighting no matter how difficult things become.
This is not easy for me to ask. Pride can make asking for help difficult, but I’ve learned humility is part of growth. I’ve prayed for strength, guidance, and the ability to overcome this season in my life. I truly believe God is giving me another opportunity to choose life, responsibility, and purpose.
Any support — whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this fundraiser — would mean more than words can explain. The funds will go toward:
* Vehicle repairs or reliable transportation
* Ignition interlock/blow box installation and monthly fees
* Transportation to work and responsibilities as a father
* Rebuilding stability for my family and children
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me during this chapter of my life. God Bless
