 My mom, Dana Hein (formerly Dana Sidler, Dana Roberson), was diagnosed with vulvar cancer in June 2026. After receiving a PET scan, we learned that <strong>her cancer is localized to the pelvis and has only spread to one lymph node</strong>. The doctor seems confident this can be taken care of with surgery. She does not currently have insurance due to losing her full-time job last year, and she <strong>cannot afford to purchase it on her own</strong>. She has been denied twice for any assistance from Medicaid or financial assistance from the hospitals. The hospital gave her a quote of $11,400 for the surgery, and she needs to have 75% of that ($8,500) to schedule the surgery. She deals with excruciating pain on a daily basis due to the tumor, so we are hopeful to get this scheduled for her as soon as possible.

<div>Angel has always been the kind of person who puts others first, never one to complain even when life gets tough. As a mother to four children, a foster mom to many more, and a caretaker to numerous animals, her heart has always had a soft spot for those in need. Her faith in God has remained strong, even as she has faced years of health struggles. Over the past year, seizures have taken a significant toll on her life, making daily tasks and independence much more difficult. After a long search for answers, she was recently diagnosed with POTS and FND. The challenges continue, including a recent fall at home. Her amazing husband Ben is hoping to take time off of work in order to stay at home with her.

She is hoping to train her new puppy as a service dog, which would help her regain some of the independence and confidence she has lost. <strong>The funds raised will go directly toward training her dog, providing her with the support she needs to navigate daily life more safely and independently. Should she find herself blessed with more donations than required for training, the money would be a big help towards other ongoing medical expenses. </strong>

Hope for Angel Through a Service Dog

<div>On 3 April 2026, 10-year-old Judson Saulog was diagnosed with leukemia. We’re fundraising to assist with his treatments as there will be immense out-of-pocket costs for his family.

<div>Judson’s parents took him to Urgent Care due to facial swelling/bruising, vomiting, and enlarged lymph nodes. They discovered that his spleen was enlarged, and he was transferred to the ER which discovered markedly elevated white blood cell count and a large mass in his chest. He was airlifted to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where further testing confirmed diagnosis of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). He is currently in the ICU there to address the chest mass which poses risk of compression to his lungs and heart. He has since received the initial stage of his leukemia treatment including corticosteroids to rapidly reduce the size of the mass. As part of this acute phase, Judson has required blood transfusion and dialysis to help his body manage the toxins and waste products released as the cancer cells break down. Chemotherapy is expected to begin on Monday, 6 April 2026.

<div>Having a child with leukemia is an unimaginable burden on its own, but the Saulogs have had other major ongoing challenges. In addition to Judson’s battle with leukemia, his mother, Susanna, has been fighting her own continuing battle with breast cancer since 2021. Clarence and Susanna also have four other young children and face challenges in childcare, meal preparation, house and vehicle maintenance, and fuel costs due to the 60-mile commute from their home to Judson’s hospital.

Support Judson’s Fight Against Leukemia

Puerto Rico has extraordinary culinary talent and restaurants with deep cultural roots—places that carry stories, traditions, and identity. Too many restaurants struggle or close, not because the food isn’t good, but because the systems behind the food often live in people’s heads: recipes, training, ordering habits, and standards. When key people leave, quality can drift fast. What a restaurant represents can fade—not from lack of heart, but from lack of infrastructure. This pilot exists to prove one thing: when we preserve the system, we preserve the culture.

 We’re launching a community nomination campaign across Puerto Rico. First, the public will nominate restaurants with deep cultural impact—places that matter and deserve to be protected. We’ll select one restaurant based on cultural significance, readiness to collaborate, and the likelihood that our tools will protect their legacy. Our Puerto Rican crew will visit, document the restaurant’s story, and capture the history, values, and vision behind the food. Then, we’ll build a complete operational backbone: a recipe book, training manual, SOPs, ordering guide, and training videos. This foundation will help the restaurant’s quality and culture survive turnover and time.

 The best part? We’ll release the entire process as free educational content, so other restaurants—and anyone with the drive—can apply the same tools themselves. The goal is bigger than one restaurant: preserve Puerto Rico’s culinary legacy, give teams clarity and training tools, reduce burnout, and help restaurants stay true to what they represent. Serve Hurricane Melissa Survivors in Jamaica

<p>Finding the words to say doesn’t seem to get any easier. My mom was called home July 11th, 2021. She was on dialysis for the past 7 years, roughly. She leaves behind two daughters, her mom, and two brothers. This is a very tough time but I have peace knowing my mom is at true rest.

<p>I am seeking help for my Father to pay for <br />medical treatments and care. He has recently <br />found out he has Stage 5 Kidney Disease. He is now medically blind and needs a kidney <br />transplant,  which I am willing to provide. I am currently active-duty military. Stationed 4,700 miles away from him and just got back from <br />leave to find housing for him to be <br />comfortable until I find a stable living <br />condition. I do not have disposable funds to <br />keep up his care. He has dialysis 3 times a <br />week, he needs rides,and needs a caretaker in order to feed him and to keep up with his doctor’s appointments. Once his insurance kicks in, his life would be a little easier to manage, but at this time he is relying on me to keep up with expenses. I have a great support system around him checking on him from time to time but it is not enough. I am asking for any support <br />possible to keep up his treatments until I find a solution.

Help My Father

<p>I am Ssgt Koritar from the 91 SFG and I am trying to take a 20 person team from the 91 SFG to partake in the 2016 Bataan Memorial Death March.  We are driving from Minot, ND to White Sands Missile Range, NM. I am taking a lot of young Airman, many of which is there first time getting an opportunity to do such a big event.  They have been training for months and working very hard to get selected for this event.  The event is the 19th of March 2016.  We will be rucking 26.2 Miles with over 40 Pounds of Canned food through the mountains of the White Sands Missile Range.  We are trying to raise some money to help give my airman a chance to do this event.  We are in need to help cover some of our major expenses. The fact that we are stationed across the United States makes things more difficult. If we can cover the cost of our transportation, all of the Airman that I have projected will be able to come.  This is my second year doing the event and last year was one of my most memorable military event to date.  <br /><br /><br />Event Background<br /><br />The Bataan Memorial Death March honors a special group of World War II heroes. <br />These brave soldiers were responsible for the defense of the islands of Luzon, Corregidor and the harbor defense forts of the Philippines.<br /> The conditions they encountered and the aftermath of the battle were unique. They fought in a malaria-infested region, surviving on half or quarter rations with little or no medical help. They fought with outdated equipment and virtually no air power.<br /><br />On April 9, 1942, tens of thousands of American and Filipino soldiers were surrendered to Japanese forces. The Americans were Army, Army Air Corps, Navy and Marines. Among those seized were members of the 200th Coast Artillery, New Mexico National Guard.<br /><br />They were marched for days in the scorching heat through the Philippine jungles. Thousands died. Those who survived faced the hardships of a prisoner of war camp.
