Help Walt get back on his feet after the Devastating Fire

<div>In 2016, my friend Alyssa fell in love with this big black puppy that was up for adoption and after spending some time with him at work one day, she couldn’t not take him home with her. But she needed to clear it with her building first, so I took him in for a couple weeks while she got her place ready. Moose quickly took to my dog, Shiloh, although she wasn’t his biggest fan at first (she was already in her senior years). But I loved having him around and everyone who met him fell in love immediately.

<div>This year, Moose is 8 years old and he was diagnosed with cancer around the holidays. He had surgery recently and has been on medication, which cost Alyssa thousands already and now he will need to undergo radiation, which is an additional $15k. Moose has so much life left to live and Alyssa is willing to do whatever it takes to get him feeling great again. This is her “kid” after all.

<div>Cleo Marguerite is a 21-month-old twin girl with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), a condition of the heart in which the main pumping chamber becomes enlarged and weakened, and cannot pump blood efficiently to the rest of the body.

<div>This little heart warrior has had more medical procedures than most people in their lifetime and she is not even two.

<div>She was first admitted to the CICU with decompensated heart failure at 3 months of age, but Cleo proved to be unstoppable, reaching all her developmental milestones (and more) against all odds over the past year. However and even though Cleo was showing improvement with home medications and regular visits to the cardiologist, she is now back in the hospital and on the heart transplant list after a cardiac arrest scare. Cleo will also have a G-tube surgery due to poor weight gain stemming from her condition.

<p>As some of you know, our fur baby Rumi recently accidentally injured her eye with her claw (while scratching her ear), which ended up causing a deep ulcer that led to her right eye rupturing over the weekend.

<p>It's been a stressful and difficult experience for us, and after a few visits to the ER and an ophthalmologist over the last few days, we were told today that the surgery to fix the damage to her eye and save her vision will cost $7,000.
</p>

<p>As you can imagine, we were not anticipating such a high cost to save her eye. We don't have it in us to remove her eye as she's only 2.5 years old, but were not prepared for such a high unexpected medical bill.

2021 started in the worst way possible. Nicole and David woke up to loud banging on the front door. Their neighbor was alerting them that the house was on fire. Hugo's Tacos Employee Fundraiser

My friend Jaquavious Jones aka Lil Patt is currently at the whim of the Cobb County Prison System. He's 19 years old, and they are charging him with possession of a firearm with zero evidence. The court applied attorney assigned to him isn't doing any work on the case to drop the charges, and his court date is June 30th. They've given him a plea deal of 20 years, serve 10. He's already been sitting in jail for over a year without bail. The system is using some charges that happened while he was a minor to increase his sentence. They are breaking many laws while doing this, but without a real lawyer he has no hope of combatting the system. I was able to contact a lawyer who is willing to work the case for the discounted price of $5,000 but we need to get the funds together before his trial on the 30th. Cobb County is notoriously unjust and difficult to navigate. Our lawyer has lots of experience dealing with their system and feels very confident he can get the charges reduced and possibly dropped all together. Patt is a great friend of mine, he's so bright and extremely talented. He dreams of becoming a full time musician, which I have no doubt he can do but we have to get him out of jail first. If he has to serve 10 years his chances of still making a music career will be greatly reduced, and his entire 20s will be spent inside a cell. Please help us get Jaquavious back in the studio and back to his family and friends!!

Fortunately, the attempt was caught and halted in time to save his life, but he sustained severe brain damage.
