<div>Every day, they spend up to 15 hours collecting cans and recyclable materials, often working until very late at night 10/11pm just to earn one to three dollars in total! Despite working this hard, they recently went three days without eating because they simply could not afford food. When I first met with them in the video they were going in 3 days without food or showering.

<div>Their living conditions are incredibly difficult. Kahlia and her mother do not have a real home they live in a small shack built from recycled materials and whatever supplies they have been able to find.

<div>Kahlia is also currently unable to attend school because her family cannot afford the school fees. Instead of being able to focus on her education and childhood, she spends her days alongside her mother trying to help their family survive.

<div>They are struggling tremendously, but they still have hope for a better future. Their dream is to open a small shop of their own so they can earn a stable income, have food every day, return Kahlia to school, and no longer have to spend 15 hours a day searching for recycling just to survive.

<div>Jazzy has been battling Neuroblastoma cancer for over 7 years. After years of treatments, surgeries, hospital stays, pain, and setbacks, her family is now desperately searching for the next option that could help save her life.

<div>Jazzy’s cancer has now spread throughout her body, including her spine, arms, and brain. In the past two months alone, she has endured three major brain surgeries, had three tumors removed from her head, and doctors have recently found new bumps appearing across her body. She is also currently relearning how to walk.

<div>They have spent every last penny they have to the point they are currently homeless.

<div>Despite everything she has been through, Jazzy is still fighting with so much strength, courage, and hope.

Help Naomi beat cancer & make her dream come true

<div>Arabelle Ember Thomas was born on January 27th, 2023 at 7:08pm weighing 5lbs 11oz and 18 inches long with a very rare Congenital Heart Disease. Arabelle has two loving parents, Shiloh and Lee Thomas, who have prayed over her fervently since their 4th ultrasound when they were told their little girl only had a 10% chance of being born healthy. From pregnancy until even now the Thomas family has accrued substantial medical bills to support Arabelle's life. The bills continue to rack up as Arabelle's first heart surgery quickly approaches in November 2023. We are asking for your donations to help support Shiloh, a healthcare worker, and her husband Lee, a firefighter, to continue to pay these bills for their daughter. <div>On Friday August 6th Shiloh and her husband Lee were waiting for the doctor to come into the exam room for her 4th ultrasound. They had seen Arabelle’s arms and legs moving and heard a strong heartbeat. As they waited, they were talking about whose nose their little girl would have.

</div>
<div>“I have some bad news.” The gut-wrenching, heart-stopping words that no parent or patient ever wants to hear. Everything Lee and Shiloh had imagined: holding Arabelle for the first time, bringing her home, was snatched away, but only for a few minutes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lee and Shiloh learned that Arabelle had what’s called a Cystic Hygroma. A cyst located at the base of her skull where it connects to the spinal cord. They are very rare, affecting only 1 in 6,000 births and generally considered "incompatible with life”. At this point, Shiloh and Lee found out that there was only a 10% chance their baby would be born healthy, and there is a high risk she will have abnormalities if she is born and an even higher risk that her heart will stop before they got to the 20-week point of pregnancy.

<div>The next steps were to see a specialist to investigate further and figure out the size and exact location of the Cystic Hygroma, and also determine what chromosomal abnormalities (that usually accompany this type of cyst) Arabelle may have. The other option, ending an innocent life, was never an option for Shiloh and Lee. Everyone deserves a chance.

<div>Arabelle fought hard and after many doctor's visits and a couple months went by Shiloh and Lee's prayers were answered. THE CYSTIC HYGROMA WAS GONE! If you don’t believe in the power of prayer, I hope this will be motivation for you to consider trying because This. Just. Doesn’t. Happen. Arabelle was, however, diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease which, in her case, includes the following defects:

<li>Pulmonary Stenosis

<li>2 large Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD)
</li>
<li>Mildly small right ventricle (Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome-HRHS)

<div>Arabelle’s TGA is THE MOST COMMONLY MISSED HEART DEFECT on ultrasounds. It just so happens that the Cystic Hygroma that was found on the back of her neck in August led the doctor's to find her heart defect.

<div>Another AMAZING fact is that 2 of her defects (her VSDs and her pulmonary stenosis) are supporting good blood flow and oxygenation throughout her body so that she can wait a couple of months before her first surgery. In other words, the two defects that have the potential to be deadly are temporarily “fixed” by her other 2 defects. Imagine that!!

<div>Arabelle was finally born on January 27th, 2023 and despite the initial thoughts that her first open heart surgery would need to occur within a few months after she was born, Arabelle showed everyone that she is strong and able to live in this world without much help. Her doctors have met several times and all agreed that has been strong enough to be home with her mom and dad until her now planned surgery in November 2023, making Arabelle over 9 months old when she will have her first surgery!

<div>In 2022 Orrin Babitt was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. He received treatment then but it has since come back. The next treatment plane is chemotherapy which he has started as of 2023. The treatment plan at the moment will take roughly 6 months. His mother Rachel will need to be with him full time throughout his treatment and recovery .

<div>Hi, my name Is Mary. This go fund me is for my friend Bud. Bud use to have a home and a job working as a home painter. Bud has a rare clotting disorder that causes him to have a very high risk of stroke without proper medication. Bud was unable to afford his medication , thus suffered two strokes leaving him almost paralyzed on his left side. With consistent therapy Bud has been able to regain some functioning in his left side but can not live or walk unattended. He is unable to work and lost his Mobile home, becoming homeless for over a year. Following his second stroke, Bud was placed in a foundation community with his own small room where he currently resides.  Unfortunately, Bud is at risk of becoming homeless again. His goal is to continue therapy to increase his independence and get back to work.  Please help me help him keep a roof over his head as he recovers from his stroke! Our goal has been updated to also help Bud receive advanced therapy to give him the best chance to walk and work again, cover medication costs and food during this time.  We can not thank you enough for your help.

Since then he and his team of coaches have dedicated themselves to sharing the art of Jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai to their community of Long Beach.  <br /><br />100% of the proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards helping Chai his wife Carina and their family in helping rebuild 10th Planet Long Beach and their team stronger than ever. Many of you have heard Chris' story. I met Chris four years ago when he had already started losing weight from over 515lbs to 371lbs. Through hard work and a refined diet, Chris has Naturally lost more weight. Going into his skin removal surgery, he is now weighing 195lbs! After surgery, he could be under 185lbs!!<br /><br />He is a motivating force at his Company. Chris has transformed his body from Morbidly obese to one of the most fit people in his Company. He is now running four-five miles at a time at an 8:30 pace as well as golfing and taking boot camp classes three times per week.<br /><br />There is an amazing quote, "Its evolution, man. Eventually the student becomes the teacher." <br />Well, Chris has taught me more about dedication and overcoming adversity than anyone in my 25 years in the fitness field. I am now the student.<br /><br />Once you see the "Before" pictures, you will be shocked that he is now considered one of the most fit people at work.<br />Chris' surgery took place yesterday, November 14th...a day he will never forget. He will be out of work for two weeks as he recovers from this 8 hour surgery.
