My boyfriend is 42 and has spent much of his life trapped in the streets and in and out of prison. After giving his life to God, he started working hard to build a better future. Before his last time in prison, he had a small landscaping business, a pop-up store, and worked temp jobs to support his business. Since getting out in August last year, he has struggled to get a car, his license, and a stable job. He invested in a flagging card to earn a decent wage, but when his car broke down, it became difficult for him to get to work, especially since flagging jobs require him to drive to different locations. He lost his housing a few months ago and is now living in a motel, which is expensive and makes it even harder to get back on his feet. Despite these challenges, he has stayed true to his faith and is determined not to return to his old lifestyle. He is trying to start his landscaping business again to earn extra income and get himself stable. He has two children—one is four years old, and the other is eighteen and currently incarcerated. He is doing everything he can to stay on the right path, but the struggle is real, and I don’t want to see him feeling trapped or forced to go back to old ways just to survive. Please help me get my boyfriend stable. With your support, we can help him see his dreams of true success and show him that people care and want to see him succeed.
