For over 200 years, the Gurkhas have stood as a symbol of courage, loyalty, and service, deeply connected to the history and values of the United Kingdom. Today, we have a unique opportunity to honour that legacy in a truly historic way. In 2026, we are proud to present, for the first time in history, a Gurkha Cultural Showcase at the Lord Mayor’s Show, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious civic events, with over 800 years of tradition in the heart of London. This is more than just a parade. It is a moment to: Celebrate Gurkha heritage Honour generations of service Share Nepalese culture with a global audience Inspire the next generation Led by Sujan Katuwal MBE and supported by the community, this initiative brings together: The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas Gurkha veterans and families Young people representing the future of this proud legacy At PANAS, we have always believed in giving back. During the pandemic, we proudly served over 250,000 meals to NHS workers and those in need. Now, we continue that journey this time by sharing our story with the world. Why We Need Your Support To bring this vision to life, we need support to cover: Float design and construction Cultural costumes and production Logistics and event coordination Community participation and outreach Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us deliver a meaningful and respectful representation of Gurkha heritage on this historic platform. Be Part of History This is not just our journey, it belongs to the entire community. We warmly invite you to support and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime moment, as we bring 200 years of Gurkha heritage to an 800-year-old stage.
