My name is Adelina, and I am Marco’s ex-wife. Together, we share five beautiful children who love their father deeply and will carry his strength with them forever. For the past year, Marco has fought pancreatic cancer with courage, resilience, and quiet determination. Despite every challenge, he has continued to fight with grace. In the last month, Marco has entered hospice care, and as our time grows more precious, he has shared his final and most meaningful wish. Marco wants to go home. As a family, we are facing something no one is ever prepared for. Our children are preparing to say goodbye to their father. We are doing everything we can to be strong for them while our hearts are breaking in ways words cannot fully describe. Marco’s wish is to be laid to rest beside his mother and father in his hometown in Mexico—a place that holds his roots, his memories, and his heart. Anyone who knows Marco knows how much Mexico means to him. It is where his story began, and it is where he wishes his journey to end. Marco is a staple in the Phoenix community. He is an honest, hardworking man, a devoted and loving father, and someone who has always shown up for those he loves. He has spent his life providing, caring, and giving, never asking for much in return. Now, as a family, we are asking for help to give him peace and dignity in his final resting place. The funds raised will go toward funeral home expenses, transportation to Mexico for Marco and his loved ones, and laying him to rest beside his family—where he belongs.
