It all started in early September when I began experiencing inflammation. By September 20, I developed a high fever of 104°F and low blood pressure. Around the beginning of October, small bumps started appearing on my right breast, and they began producing pus. I was hospitalized for two weeks, during which doctors cleaned out all the infected areas on my chest. After being discharged, I was home for about a week and felt okay—but soon after, the bumps and pus came back. Since then, I’ve been in constant pain and have visited five different hospitals in Los Angeles. Despite all the tests and procedures and being poked more than 60 times the doctors still haven’t found the cause of my infection. Because of this, my mother decided to take me to a doctor in Tijuana, Mexico. The doctors there have been helping me and closely monitoring my infection. They determined that I need surgery to open my breast and find out what’s causing the recurring problem. The surgery is scheduled for November 15, and it will cost between $4,000 and $9,000 (cash). A principios de octubre, empezaron a aparecer pequeños bultos en mi pecho derecho, que comenzaron a producir pus.
