My parents have always been there for others, but now they are facing some of the hardest times of their lives. My dad became disabled during COVID. At first, things seemed manageable, but over the years his health has declined. He has had a few toes amputated, is currently on dialysis three times a week due to kidney failure, and also has congestive heart failure. Because of all this, he can no longer work, which has been incredibly hard on him both emotionally and financially. My mom is doing her best to keep things together, but she has to take a lot of unpaid days off work to care for my dad and take him to his many appointments.
In November, things got even harder when their well stopped working. We've called multiple places for help, but everyone wants all the money upfront, which just isn't possible for them right now. Every time they try to save, more medical needs come up and the bills keep piling on. Fixing the well is the most urgent need, but any help will also go toward medical bills and daily expenses.
We appreciate any help that we can get. I know there are many people in this world going through something. My parents have helped a lot of people in their lives, and I just want to help them any way I can. Your support would mean the world to us, whether it's through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any kindness you can offer.
