<div>Eind april vertrekken we samen naar een van de armste landen ter wereld, Malawi (Afrika) om daar vrijwilligerswerk te doen voor stichting Floja.

<div>Veel kleuters moeten kilometers lopen om bij Floja te komen. Goed schoeisel ontbreekt. Daarom heeft Jolien de afgelopen periode zoveel mogelijk kleutersandalen ingezameld om deze persoonlijk aan de kinderen uit te delen.

<div>Op Floja is er een veilige omgeving voor tieners (12-18 jaar) waar ze hun zorgen even kunnen vergeten. Op verzoek van de begeleiders gaat Rosanne aan de slag met haar theatervaardigheden. In spelvorm krijgen de tieners les in bewustwording rond thema's als lichaamsbewustzijn, seksualiteit en grenzen stellen.

<div>Zet zich in onder bezielende leiding van René Polle en Colette van Eck om de levens van kwetsbare kinderen, hun ouders en andere leden binnen de gemeenschap beter te maken. De organisatie richt zich op het bieden van essentieel onderwijs, het verstrekken van voedzame maaltijden en levert een bijdrage aan de gezondheidszorg. De steun aan lokale projecten stelt de inwoners van Ngara in staat om een eigen inkomen te realiseren.
