<div>I'm currently completing my latest adult project, <em>ValueSoul: Liberate Your Heart, Mind &amp; Wallet, with an </em>accompanying children's book, Color the World in Love. ValueSoul has been a labor of love for over ten years, delayed by unforeseen challenges, but it remains a project close to my heart. In this book, I showcase the wisdom of 40 global scholars, whom I call <strong>Change Champions</strong>, and weave their stories into a narrative that inspires readers to make a positive impact in the world. Parts of ValueSoul have already been taught at Boston University, Bridgewater State University and the lessons have resonated deeply with students and educators alike.

<div>During the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked with children to collect illustrations that answered profound questions: What is love? Where do you find love? What does love look like? These heartfelt drawings are featured in the accompanying children's book which carries value statements that mirror the lessons in the adult book. Together, these books form a pedagogical project that can be used in various classrooms, helping both adults and children explore the power of love, positive change and values.

ValueSoul: Liberate Your Heart, Mind & Wallet

<div><strong>Neil Silberblatt has entered hospice care today.</strong> Voices of Poetry and friends of Neil Silberblatt have created this fundraiser to alleviate some of the financial burden of funeral, health care, and memorial expenses for his beloved wife, Mary Ann Demello. Neil is the founder of the grassroots poetry organization, Voices of Poetry, through which he has produced hundreds of poetry events, featuring emerging and established poets and artists at notable venues such as libraries, museums, and literary landmarks.

<div>Neil is a poet himself and a lover of words. He has hosted "The Poet's Corner" for WOMR/WFMR, and through VOP events and his social media outreach, he has established a vital place for poetry and poets. <strong>He needs us now as he begins his final journey home.</strong>

<div>Some of you may know that our friend and longtime Ptown resident, Star, has been going through a health crisis involving an organic, degenerative brain disease.

<div>We are a group of Star’s friends who have been meeting for years to help her with healthcare and financial issues, as her illness progresses. Now, we are appealing to the greater community for help.
</div>

</div>
<div>Perhaps you were a customer at Star’s restaurant Tofu-A-Go-Go, a fan of her secret peanut sauce, or have seen her on her bike in years past, or at the Pilgrim Bark dog park with her beloved pooch, Azzie. Maybe you own one of her paintings or worked with her at a coffee shop, restaurant, or The US Post Office. Or maybe you don’t know Star at all, but believe in giving to a local in need.

<div>Our goal is to keep Star in her affordable-housing home with her beloved dog for as long as possible, but now our friend is in need of financial support beyond our means.
</div>

<div>Recently, Star’s illness has progressed quite a bit, and she requires more help.

<div>Help for Star includesfor a growing number of assistive devices to help with mobility and dexterity. But her greatest need right now is for additional paid caretakers for when the home healthcare agency is unable to send enough aides to assist with her care needs in the afternoon and evening, and for when her care-giving night-time housemate has time off.
