Hi, my name is Shafiqul Alam, and I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend Amit Sarker, who is from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Today, I’m reaching out with deep humility to share the story my friend, and to ask for your prayers, support, and eye replacement and liver gastric alser during an incredibly difficult time for their family.
Amit’s father is a dedicated Pabna Dc office employee Pabna Rajshahi. He is loved by her employee, respected by her colleagues, and cherished by everyone who has had the privilege of knowing her.
Since 1992 I am near sighted. Later I had an eye examination at the Ophthalmologist doctor and the Ophthalmologist gave me 2.5 (-) power glasses. Every year I get an eye exam my vision gradually changes. I do eye examination and lens replacement in India. Since 2017, the light of the eyes has gradually decreased. I visit eye doctor in Pabna, Bangladesh for my eye test. My eyes were then dilated and eye drops were given and I gradually became blind. Then he gave us advice for treatment in developed countries. I have seen many doctors in Bangladesh and they said there is nothing we can do. Birat Nagar Eye Hospital, Nepal and had my lenses removed. I am currently destitute.
I need about 15500$ USD for advanced treatment abroad. I need about 15500$ US Dollars for treatment with my eye replacement. I have already spent about 15000$ USD for treatment. I cannot walk without the help of others.
Despite her incredible bravery, the emotional and financial burden on the family has grown beyond what they can bear alone. They are doing everything possible to support her fight—but at this stage, they urgently need help to continue her treatment and give her the best possible chance at healing.
Your support—through a donation or even by simply sharing this campaign—would mean the world to Amit and his family.
It would bring his father one step closer to recovery and give them the strength to keep fighting beside her.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to read and for holding this family in your thoughts.
