LJ is my 8-year-old cousin who loves playing football and baseball. He’s always been an active kid, full of energy and joy. On the morning of June 28th, LJ woke up feeling very sick and began throwing up. My uncle rushed him to the Emergency Room, where we received the heartbreaking news that LJ has leukemia. He was air lifted from a hospital in Missouri to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock to begin ongoing chemotherapy and further treatment.

 LJ’s journey has been tough, but he’s fighting every day. Once he’s stable enough to be released, he’ll need at-home care and special equipment to help him recover. This means my uncle will have to stay home to care for LJ, making it impossible for him to return to work right now. The funds raised will help cover medical bills, at-home care equipment, and daily expenses so LJ and my uncle can focus on his recovery without worrying about finances.

He is still positive that one day he will! He even had a positive impact on everyone he met during his stroke by being completely positive and just grateful to have been able to live through it!

Help Marine Veteran Vic Rebuild After Stroke [Mississippi]

<div>Debbie has had one of the hardest stretches of life imaginable, and she's been carrying most of it alone.

<div>Her husband was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and given about 90 days to live. Debbie became his full-time caregiver through all of it until he passed. In the time since, her own health has been declining, and the weight of everything has made it nearly impossible to keep up with her home, her yard, and her own medical care.

<div>While she was grieving, she was also being taken advantage of. A contractor took a $2,000 deposit for tree work and never showed up. A neighbor wrecked her car and didn't pay for it. She fell three months behind on rent, put off dental and health care she genuinely needs, and there were days when she and her dogs went without food because she simply couldn't afford it.

<div>We found out about Debbie through her Uber driver, Zach, who helped carry her groceries to the back door, noticed how much she was struggling, and reached out to us because he couldn't help on his own. My dad and I spent two days at her property clearing years of overgrowth and hauling multiple trailer loads of debris. We bought everything she had set aside for a yard sale and donated it to Habitat for Humanity so she'd have money in hand without the burden of running the sale herself. Through SB Mow It Forward, we also covered her three months of back rent so she could get out from under that stress.

<div>But there's still more she needs, and that's why we're here. This money will go toward dental care she's been putting off, medical expenses that have gone unaddressed, day-to-day essentials, and eventually supporting her transition into a senior living community when she's ready.

<div>On December 10th, my Daddy, Edward “Bay” Ates, had a massive heart attack and passed away at his home in Bernice. Six days later, my nephew, her grandson, died in a terrible car accident. <strong>My mother has now been left in a terrible financial hardship</strong> as she awaits her social security to be switched over to a widow’s pension, which is said to take up to 3 months and be less than 1/3 of what they had to live on before Dad passed away. They have raised a granddaughter since she was a baby, who is now 15. <strong>Mom will now carry that responsibility alone, with a very low income.</strong> But for up to 3 months, she will have ZERO income coming in. The bills do not stop coming. Lights, phones, food, necessities, medicine, doctors, and lots of final expenses have to be taken care of. We also need to get a headstone for Daddy’s grave site. <strong>I’m asking anyone who will to help me get things taken care of and reduce some of the stress she is under during a very difficult time of losing her husband of 51 years and her 29-year-old grandson in less than a week.</strong> Any donations will go straight to her account.

Help Ann Through Her Time of Loss

<div>I’m writing this to help a very special person-my best friend. Carolyn Frazier was @ a local racetrack Crawleys Ridge Raceway July 13th with her husband &amp; family. While she was sitting in the stands socializing and enjoying her family- a terrible wreck happened on the track. She had her back turned visiting with friends, and out of nowhere, the bumper from the wreck flew over the fence fast as it could &amp; hit her leg with such a force that it broke her lower leg in 2 places and cracked her femur. She said she felt like she had been shot. She fell out of her chair, tumbled down stairs &amp; passed out when she hit the ground. The crowd and her family immediately surrounded her &amp; ripped off their shirts and belts to do tourniquets. Carolyn  said she thought she was going to die. The multiple breaks to her legs put her in such a shock- she couldn’t fathom she would live through it. An Ambulance rushed out to the track, and picked her up, taking her to a local hospital. Because of the extreme trauma, they sent her to Little Rock. The Dr’s there have been so amazing. They have given her a hope to push through and learn to walk again. With multiple surgeries ahead of Carolyn… it will definitely be trying physically &amp; emotionally. She has just completed her first surgery. It took a little over 6 hours. She’ll have others in the weeks to come. Carolyn is going to be off work at minimum 12 weeks. Any help you can give will be forever grateful. We never know how our lives can change in the blink of an eye. Thank you for hearing our heart for our very special friend &amp; loving her like we do. Hearts 4 Sonya

Thank you so much for your prayers and support throughout William's fight with COVID. William was a healthy 46 year old with no underlying medical conditions before becoming sick with COVID. He is a nurse practitioner and his wife Angie is also a nurse. He has been at LSU Shreveport in the MICU on the ventilator for over 40 days. He now has a tracheostomy and has been receiving PT, OT, and Speech Therapy daily. His next step will be to go to a rehab facility to regain his strength. Angie has been unable to work during this time due to still testing positive for COVID (6 weeks later). Angie and William have insurance but it will not cover the entire cost of his ICU and rehabilitation stay. Any donations that are received will go towards these medical expenses. If you are unable to donate, your prayers are just as appreciated. William still has a long recovery road ahead of him, but he is here today because of your prayers and we give all the glory to God! LAS VEGAS VICTIMS' FUND

Natheniel Elmore. Some of his friends may know him as Nate from Ruston La. A couple years back Nate was challenging health problems and he didnt know what was taking over his body. He was losing weight and didnt know what was the cause, he started gaining red patches and bumps on his legs first and didnt know the reason. He decided to take control of his body and go to the doctor to see what he could possibly be challenging. After having tons of xrays and test performed Nate was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. He has ccontorlled his health getting back on track, gaining his wieght back until June 3, 2017 he was admitted into the hospital in ICU with a ruptured spleen. Many people know that a ruptured spleen is caused by an injury but not in the case with sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis is the growth of tiny collections of inflammatory cells in different parts of your body. Doctors believe sarcoidosis results from the bodys immune  system responding to an unkown substance, most likely something inhaled from the air and the cure is unkown. In Nate' case today he has Sarcoidosis of the Spleen, so now sarcoidosis has taken over his spleen causing it to rupture. The cause is unkown and it is no reason for the cause of his spleen ruputuring it just happens spontaneously because he has sarcoidosis. He needs your help. He is being forced to not work to support himself and bills that he has worked hard for, for 40 years are accumalating  along with medical expenses. He has now been in ICU for a week unable to work and now needs help from some family and friends or anyone that is willing to donate.  Any amount of donation helps and is a blessing and I thank you for taking the time out to read his story.

I HAVE SARCOIDOSIS

On May 25, 2017 Cortney King was found in her apartment pool unresponsive. (Possibly due to a seizure?) She was taken to Bay Medical Sacred Heart Hospital, in Panama City Beach, FL where they were able to revive her! She remands in critical condition but has a great team working on her around the clock! She is on a vent but she is initiating breathing on her own. They are keeping her heavily sedated to let her body rest and heal. They were able to get the majority of water out of her lungs and are still suctioning them. They will eventually try and wake her but want her BP and heart rate more stable. At that time they will be able to evaluate the amount of brain damage there might be. Good news! She is responding! When her eyes were held open she would look at me when I was talking to her! So Yay Cortney! She is a fierce fighter so I don't expect anything but a 100% comeback from her! ALL of your prayers and good vibes are working! So please keep them coming, she has a long road ahead of her! Our God is so Good! On a side note: I want to brag on Carter and how God is showing himself to him! Through the storms he gives us  a rainbow. I could NOT be more proud of him and how positive he has been during this situation. So please keep him in your prayers as he learns to trust God, thy will be done.This GoundMe will be for Ms Betty and Carters travel expenses and possibly getting Cortney back to TN so they can help her recover. Ms Betty has had to take off work and rent a car to be there with Cortney. She will have to leave soon to go back to work so she will have to make another trip when she can. Cortney King's Family Support Fund

As many of you probably know, Stephanie was diagnosed at the end of her pregnancy (July of 2016) with a severe form of  Arnold Chiari Malformation.  To simplify, she was born with a malformation in the lower part of her skull causing herniation of her brain. Unfortunately, but thankfully her pregnancy was the reason that doctor's discovered her condition. Due to the severity of the malformation, she will need brain surgery at the end of April with a very extensive recovery. This recovery will involve having to wear a halo and her being out of work for a minimum of 12 weeks.  We are asking for the amount that she will need to pay out of pocket for the surgery.  <br />Our hearts (Jessica and Amy and the nurses she works with at Alliance) are heavy for what is to come for her and her family. Taking care of a newborn and living a "normal" life is difficult, but to add doing this in a halo and being unable to even hold her child makes things even harder. Its our hope that we can all pitch in and share this campaign so that we can at least lift the burden of medical expenses from her and her husband Chris. <p>ARIZONA: Thieves stole the life savings of a U.S. Navy veteran, who survived Pearl Harbor and flew missions over both fronts during World War II.<br /><br />"I've seen devastation I'll never forget," Jack Holder said of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, which he witnessed when he was 18.<br /><br />Holder is now 94, and completely healthy. He flew in the Battle of Midway, and later over the English Channel in a B-24.<br /><br />Following a career in the Navy, Holder lived and worked all over the world in industries ranging from oil to the airlines to professional golf. <br /><br />After all of his worldly experience, Holder cannot believe he fell victim to a common scam.<br /><br />Someone claiming to be from the Publisher's Clearing House called his home in Chandler and told him he'd won $4.7 million, and a new Mercedes Benz.<br /><br />"I'd entered their drawings years ago, and they said they keep the entries for many years," Holder said.<br /><br />The scammers told Holder he had to pay taxes before he was given his prizes. He and his fiancée, Ruth Calabro, wrote several checks, totaling $43,000.<br /><br />When the thieves asked for another installment of $100 bills tucked into the pages of a magazine, they knew they'd been scammed.<br /><br />"I'm completely devastated. I can't believe how stupid I was," Holder said.<br /><br />"They took all I had," Calabro said. Help Pearl Harbor Survivor 

Shelia Brocato was a fun, wonderful and loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She is gone too soon and unexpectedly. This GoFundMe is to help raise money for her funeral expenses. She is survived by her awesome two kids Patrick and Taylor Doss. Her family needs some support with the funeral expenses in this tough time. Any donation is welcome! Let's help this family through this hard time in their lives.

Shelia Brocato Funeral Expenses

Dylan, an awesome young man,  was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor Thursday, September 3, 2015. He underwent exploratory surgery the following Saturday and will have another surgery Friday. The doctors treating him at St. Judes Hospital in Memphis have advised the family he will be receiving treatment at St.Judes for at least six weeks, if not longer. Dylan, along with his mom and dad, brothers, sister,  girlfriend, family, and friends appreciate and need your prayers and moral support! Knock Cancer Out of the Park Dylan

As most of you know, these past two years I have battled multiple  bouts of pneumonia. Each stay in the hospital my left lung had developed a new bacteria. With this  last visit to the hospital, I was sent to a cardiovascular surgeon for an evaluation. They have decided to remove my lower left lung. I have agreed. I am trying to raise money for medical expenses and time off of work. Thank you all. Sending love and prayers to you and yours.
