<div>Hello everyone, if you don’t know me already my name is Kallie and I’m from Allen Park, Michigan. I am 32 years old and a mother of 2 toddlers. My tremors started in late 2019, I was misdiagnosed for 3 years. I was properly diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in September of 2022. FND is a disorder involving the brain. “Research and experience have shown that FND results from problems with functional connectivity in the brain and the body.” To sum it up I have to retrain my brain. As some of you may know, I am a stay at home mom. Every single day is a struggle for me. When I wake up, I have about 5 to 10 minutes before all my symptoms start to attack me. My tremor affects my entire body, my legs lock up and my limbs stiffen. It gets gradually worse throughout the day. By 1pm I am physically and mentally exhausted. By evening when I go to lay down my body is still trembling which doesn’t allow me to sleep. Every single task is difficult and sometimes impossible. Whether it be brushing my teeth, showering, pouring a glass of milk for my kids, I am unable to hold a glass of liquids without spilling, dressing myself and my kids, preparing meals, using utensils, giving my kids a bath, settling my kids when they are upset or need to be held and so many more things that I used take for granted. This disorder CONSUMES ME. JUST TO BE ABLE TO WALK NORMALLY would mean the absolute world to me. We are a one income household. With that being said, we have spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on all of the treatments that I have gone through thus far. Whether it be the two programs I have done- 1 being a week long recovery project program in Kalamazoo, MI and the other being a two week long program at the University of Michigan, hypnosis, sound baths, brain therapy, meditation, yoga, physical and occupational therapy, mental therapy, CBT therapy, self-love journals, CBT workbooks, all the equipment + all the books. The problem is, is that a lot of medical professionals do not know much about FND as of yet. It’s more common over seas. After getting let down multiple times and feeling extremely defeated. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I started doing a ton of research. That’s when I found Re+active Therapy. The whole clinic + staff specialize in my disorder. They have had countless amounts of success stories. I got accepted into their program. It’s a 3 to 10 week intensive program, 3 to 4 hours a day, in Torrance, California. Unfortunately, it is an out of network program. Housing is also not included. My family and I desperately need your help, it WILL finally help me get my life back. <div>Hi. My name is Andrea Sullivan. Normally I never ask for help, I am very stubborn and I always think I can do everything on my own. But a friend suggested i do this and realizing that maybe sometimes everyone could use a little help so I  agreed. Back in April I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. As many of you know this has been a very difficult year for me. So many changes. Then this happened. I am a very positive person and also I am a very hard worker and I always do what I have to to make everything happen. This unfortunately has put alot more added stress than even I can handle. My prognosis is very good. Hopefully just the removal of my thyroid and very worst case radiation and loss of my voice. I am going to have to be off of work for probably 3 weeks after surgery. Hopefully I don't need a second surgery but it's a possibility. Due to being off so many weeks it's going to cause a financial hardship for me. Several weeks ago, my sister-in-law, Lauri, was diagnosed with Stage IIIC Rectal Cancer. <br /><br />Lauri is an amazing wife to her husband Ron, mother to her four beautiful children (Christopher, Danielle, Emily, and Brianna), grandmother to her three-month old grandson (Jackson), sister to (Tammy, Becky, and Bill), daughter (Stan and Karen), aunt to 20+ nieces and nephews, and friend to many. She is definitely not alone during this time!<br /><br />Those of you who know Lauri know that she has a HUGE heart and would do anything to help a friend or family member in need.  She is such an important part of our lives and means the WORLD to all of us!<br /><br />Although the word "cancer" scares many, Lauri has been nothing but positive and fighting this disease like a champ, and will continue to do so with all of her loved ones close by.  Lauri has started her chemo and will finish up treatment right before Thanksgiving. Once chemo is finished, Lauri will have five weeks of radiation before she can get surgery. After surgery, she will have to recover for six weeks. <br /><br />During these unprecedented times, Lauri has been out of work like many others, and must remain out of work while receiving treatment. At this time I’m asking that we all come together to shower my sister Mandy with love, prayer, and light.<br />A few wks ago Mandy found out at 36 yrs old that she has breast cancer. About a week after finding out she had an emergency bilateral (dbl) mastectomy. She was staged at 2B and treatment plans will soon be in progress.<br />If getting cancer isn’t horrible enough.. there’s also COVID-19 going around (Mandys pay has been cut dramatically due to the pandemic) Her and her husband Dave have 5 children they are also taking care of.. <br />We all need help or support sometimes. Mandy’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

In late March of this year, <strong>Jordan Oakley</strong> noticed an unusual lump on the lower part on the right side of his neck. He went to the doctors, they kinda of brushed it off and told him to come back in a couple of weeks if it didnt go away. Jordan's knowledge of the medical field and his own intuition told him to go back. He had them run WBC and other tests (ultra sounds..ect.), He then had a biopsy done, that determined that he had Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer. Then he had more and more blood work done, pulmonary testing, EKG's and other Heart test, PET/CT scan,Bone Marrow Biopsy, which through these tests it was determined he is at  <strong>Stage 3: Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer. The cancer is in his lymph nodes and in his spleen</strong>. He had to under go port surgery and had his first doses of the four diff. chemotherapy treatments on Friday, May 22nd. Jordan is a full-time Ferris State University student, and is only two semesters away from completing his double major- degree in Health Care Systems Adminstration/ Health Information Technology, During the summer Jordan usually works at a factory full time, to save money for the school year and expenses. He will be unable to do that this summer, and his savings account is depleted. He will also be unable to get any state assitance for finances or food, due to him being a college student. Star Walters as you know has passed on to make a difference somewhere else. She was riding her bicycle and was hit by a car and left on the side of the road where she died alone. Her family and friends have no closure due to the fact the individual who hit her is still out there and has so cowardly not come forward. Star was an amazing free spirit who gave with no expectations and now this is her time to recieve a proper burial. I'm not asking for much only what she would have done for you for those who knew her you know what that means. Star's family needs your donations more than ever. Let's please lay our friend to rest properly. Here  isthe information from the newspaper just to give you an idea of the severity.  Just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday a person was driving by East Charleston Boulevard, just west of North Nellis Boulevard, when they noticed a bicyclist laying motionless in the street, police said.<br /><br />The 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.<br /><br />Witness statements and evidence at the scene indicate that a dark gray - possibly a Dodge Charger - was traveling eastbound in the right lane, east of Frank Street, when it struck a bicyclist riding a blue 18-speed Univega in the same lane and fled, Liberty said.<br /><br />Police said the vehicle they are looking for should have significant damage to the front right side.
