Liver Transplant for Liz Schenk

<div>Update on Keegan. We had another appointment and unfortunately it wasn't the news we were hoping for. Keegan went in for a sedated MRI and it could be possible her tumor is growing back. We are praying that it is just some intense scar tissue needing more time to heal, but her doctor doesn't like how thick it looks. Now we have to wait until December 4th for another sedated MRI. Please family and friends continue to share, and we can't thank you enough for the donations and support.

<div>She is home and healing very well. Keegan is still pretty shaky mainly on her left side, and having to do physical therapy. With us having to take so much time off we did get behind unfortunately. Keegan has a follow up appointment on July 10th at the children's primary hospital. <div>Hello we are Roy and Demi Perkins. We are raising funds for medical and traveling expenses for our daughter Keegan Lee Perkins. Keegan has a cyst on her cerebellum about the size of eight cm. This is causing her to have horrible headaches, vomiting, and loss of being able to walk and grabs objects correctly. Keegan will undergo surgery to remove fluids that are putting pressure on her brain, and the main surgery to cut an incision and remove the cyst. Keegan had to be rushed to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City by ambulance from Rupert Idaho. She is in good spirits but we have a long road ahead of us. Those of you who know Keegan know how much of a kind soul she is. She is always happy, and ready for her next adventure. To see her go from our cheerful kiwi running and jumping around, to her losing her ability to walk correctly is truly heartbreaking. Our family is devastated by the loss of Shelby. It was a very sudden and heartbreaking loss for the family, and those he was close to. <div>My name is Landee and my brother Zack and sister in law Melissa were expecting their 2nd daughter in Oct 2022. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Haisley was born at 25 weeks on June 29th. Baby Haisley was life flighted to Idaho Falls since the delivering hospital did not have a NICU department. Due to some unforeseen complications she had during first few days of life Haisleys conditions worsened and she was life flighted to Salt Lake children's hospital where she is currently. She underwent surgery that first week in Salt Lake and since then has been getting stronger each day. Haisley still has a long road ahead of her and especially for my brother and his family. Melissa stays in Salt Lake full time while Zack travels to Salt Lake on the weekends. Zack started a business and has been trying to hold things down on the home front while dealing with everything going on. Melissa had started a new job shortly before Haisley joined their family since Kinsley their 17 month old daughter turned 1 and she was ready to get back to work. Due to the situation sending her to be in Utah her job had to let her go since she didn’t qualify for personal leave. With the separation Melissa will go weeks at a time without seeing Kinsley so will try and go down if she can or Zach will bring her up for a weekend. With that said Kinsley is not allowed in the NICU so one parent has to stay back while the other can visit. Either way there is a separation from Haisley which is hard. Due to the long drive and gas prices it has put out of pocket expenses they weren’t prepared for weekly so Melissa and Zach can spend some time together with Haisley. Not including normal medical expenses they get during this time and the out of pocket from being away from home has put strain on them so I am asking for help from the community.

<div>On the morning of September 8, 2022, our friend and brother Mike Wendler was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 84 in Jerome City, Idaho. Mike was providing traffic control at an incident as part of his duties as an Idaho State Police Sergeant, and he was outside his patrol vehicle when hit. Mike suffered critical injuries in the collision, was revived on scene by first responders and was subsequently flown by air ambulance to a trauma center in Idaho Falls for emergency surgery, where he currently remains in the intensive care unit.

<div>Mike is a beloved and devoted husband, father, friend, and co-worker. As a Marine Corps veteran and 16+ year member of the Idaho State Police, Mike has dedicated his entire adult life to serving others; his life epitomizes a servant leader mindset. Mike also has a true warrior’s spirit, but he has a long road to recovery in this fight for his life.

ISP Sgt. critically injured in the line of duty

<div>On Monday, November 15th, Pastor Rick Zimmerman suffered a massive heart attack in his home. He was taken by ambulance to Cassia, and once stable was Life Flighted to St. Luke's in Twin Falls. Upon arriving in Twin, Rick was rushed into an emergency surgery to repair and place stents in his heart. Currently he has undergone CT, MRI and other various scans/tests while they have kept his body sedated. Unfortunately, we do not have an update yet on his condition, but we truly believe he is in the best care possible.

<div>For those who do not know, Rick suffered a fall at work in September and has been out of work since then while he worked to rehab his injury.. only to be knocked down again after contracting COVID and being in the hospital for almost a week. This, plus the previous blows he was dealt, have caused a great amount of financial stress and burden upon his family. We (the extended family) are hoping the community can come together and help ease the weight of medical bills once they start piling up. Anyone who knows Pastor Rick knows the humble, kind and gracious spirit he serves this community with. His heart has always been in serving the hurt and broken, and we pray a complete healing of that amazing heart so he can continue to love those God calls him to support.

After 8+ months of increasing hip pain being misdiagnosed, Colten requested an MRI be done of his hip, and that MRI revealed an aggressive form of cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma (soft tissue/bone cancer) which had grown larger than a grapefruit in size. Growing dangerously close to his spine,the risk of life-long mobility impairments was too great, so removal was not a viable option. His Oncologist (who specializes in Sarcomas)prescribed an aggressive treatment plan which includes 14 cycles of chemotherapy and 31 treatments of localized radiation to reduce and ultimately eradicate the tumor, with possible radiation to the lungs at the end of treatment due to small nodules that were recently discovered there. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/44823948_1579272751864950_r.jpeg" alt="44823948_1579272751864950_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/44823948_1579272773394545_r.jpeg" alt="44823948_1579272773394545_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/44823948_1579272799431806_r.jpeg" alt="44823948_1579272799431806_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Colten’s body has reacted poorly to the drugs. He and Gabby have endured many frightening and exhaustive visits to the ER because of side effects ranging from fever, infection, and unrelenting pain. Each treatment leaves him neutropenic (no immune system) and he is confined to the house. Gabby stands in full support as his full-time caretaker and has been with him every step of the way in this his darkest time, and he, hers. As you can imagine, their life goals and adventures have been put on hold for a time. Thankfully, Gabby has been able to waitress on the side to help with the bills; and while the majority of adults who are diagnosed with this cancer can no longer work due to the harsh and debilitating treatment protocol, Colten has still been workingfrom home throughout the entire process. Both Colten and Gabby's families have been taking day-long drives to help share the burden as often as they can, and of course it also helps to have their furry canine babies, Monte, Kovu, and Shadow to comfort them in this lonely time. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/44823948_1579485863717075_r.jpeg" alt="44823948_1579485863717075_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/44823948_1579272842417492_r.jpeg" alt="44823948_1579272842417492_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Nine months in now, the tumor has reduced in volume by close to 70% and the doctors are optimistic about a full recovery. While the prognosis is positive, they expect the bills and related out of pocket expenses to exceed $20,000. For 5 years post treatment, Colten will require a combination of CT and PET scans every 3 months in order to monitor the original tumor site, and make sure that the cancer doesn’t return. Between the current costs of medical deductibles, travel expenses, out of pocket expenses, and future costs of scans, the bills have finally piled to beyond what they can handle. Our goal is for Colten and Gabby to be able to turn the page on this exhausting chapter at the end of this. We want them moving forward without crippling medical debt. We want to see them back hiking the winding trails of their new home, running with their dogs at the lake, sitting around the campfire snarfing smores and laughing at each other’s bad jokes, and looking forward to new adventures. Treatment should finish in late March, and then begins the long road to recovery and rehabilitation. We thank you in advance for any assistance in making their journey a little bit easier. Michael Radabaugh Funeral Expenses

Some of you may not know, but our beloved son, brother, and friend, AJ felt as though the burdens in this world were too great to handle yesterday and unfortunately took his own life. We as a family are crushed. He has been such a light at every point in our lives. He was kind, intelligent, loving and talented in every way you can imagine. Celebration of Life for AJ

On Saturday April 18th 2020 Kevin fell off the roof of the cleaners. He broke 5 ribs and 1 rib in 2 different places and punctured his lung. Not only will he have medical bills he can not work for at least 2 weeks if not more. Darrells cleaners in his life, he never takes a day off even when he is sick. He always says you never know when a customer might come in. It was the first dry cleaners in Burley Idaho, his mother and father opened it and kevin has been running it now for 10 years. it has been in our community for over 50 years. The cleaners helps keep all walks looking nice from your everyday suit to your cowboy starch, kevin always gives his best and trys to make everyone happy, This virus has taken a toll on the cleaners already and now this is really going to hurt so if you can help at all it would be greatly appreciated in their time of need.

On Sunday, September 9th, Baby Chayse was involved in a freak accident involving a pressure cooker.  After the pressure had been let out of the cooker, and the lid was off, a huge bubble formed and a volcano of liquid exploded raining down on baby Chayse and his mom Angie.  Angie received minimal burns, but Baby Chayse and his delicate skin was not so lucky.  Baby Chayse was rushed to the hospital and was life flighted to the University of Utah Burn Center. Baby Chayse has a long road ahead of him and will remain at the University of Utah for quite some time.  Baby Chayse has 2 older brothers who also need their parents, Angie and Travis.  The cost of traveling back and forth from Idaho to Utah along with the upcoming medical bills will become stressful.  To lighten their burden and help them with some of their upcoming expenses, please consider donating.  ANYTHING will be helpful and appreciated.  Any money that is raised and not needed will be donated to the BE BRAVE BAYLEE foundation and Ronald McDonald House.  Please continue to keep baby Chayse and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

14-year-old Jacob Rupp lost his life on July 26, 2018 while doing something he loved. Jacob fell while skateboarding and suffered from suspected rhabdomyolysis.  This occurs from a fall serious enough to injure muscles that break down rapidly causing toxins to leak into the blood. This first causes kidney failure, then other organ failure.  Extreme heat can play a major role in its severity and the 100+ degree weather Boise has experienced this entire last month was not helpful to Jacob's skateboarding passion. <br /><br />This fundraiser was created for two reasons. Most importantly it is to raise enough to pay for Jacob’s final expenses to help ease the burden for his family. Any money received above what is needed for Jacob’s final expenses will go towards skateboarding to honor his name. Jacob’s brothers, Jordan and Jeremy Rupp along with this fundraiser’s organizer, will work with the Boise Skateboard Association and the City of Boise to determine the best way to use the funds in memorial of Jacob Rupp to support the skateboard community based on the amount of donations received.<br /><br />Jacob was a special soul and held a spot in many people’s hearts. He was taken far too early, for doing something he loved and will be dearly missed. May you rest in peace, Jacob.

The tragedy in and of itself is unfathomable, the process in which their loved ones are to deal with in preparation to begin grieving can be softened (never removed) by all of us joining in and pitching in financially for all expenses including traveling families. Everyone who knows Dash knows he has always been a light to be around! In just his three little years of life, he has never failed to make someone laugh every day. I never knew how great it could be to be an aunt until Dash came around and showed how much love he was capable of giving. Over the past few months, Dash unfortunately has experienced a sudden decline in his health and hasn't been his laughing self. Doctors have discovered a tumor of about 7 inches on and in his liver. The very large size of the tumor is taking up the majority of his liver and pushing some of his vital organs, including his heart and stomach, out of place. This is causing secondary issues and more pain. He was admitted into the pediatrics oncology center and it is not clear how long he is going to have to stay at this time (his little one year old brother is already missing Dash so much!). As of now, Dash is going through more MRIs, CT scans, and other tests to determine the exact nature of the tumor. He will have a biopsy on Monday to help with the final diagnosis. After that, treatment and chemotherapy options are going to be discussed. Although we are not sure what Dash will have to face, we know that he is a fighter and will take whatever it is head on! We are hoping to raise money to help take some of the financial burden off of his parents while they take leave from work in order to focus on helping Dash fight. Every thought, prayer, dollar, and share help and we thank you for your support! Please be patient with his parents with responses. It has been and will continue to be a very overwhelming and difficult time but all of your positive thoughts and comments are heard and appreciated more than you know. Dash's Liver Cancer

On January 27th a very precious young man that touched many lives during his journey on earth, gained his wings. <br />Stetson was 15 years old and was born with Trisomy 4p.  Stetson was definitely an angel on earth. Anyone that ever crossed his path always felt inspired and loved by Stetson. He had many friends because of his amazing heart and joyful personality, he never knew an enemy or a stranger.<br />Stetson left behind his parents Blake and Sarah, and his 2 siblings Brooklyn (who also suffers from Trisomy 4p) and Jett. Please keep them in your prayers, as this is such a tremendous loss for their family. <br />Stetson started suffering From seizures in March of 2013 they were bad in the beginning, but doctors started changing his meds this past September. And from there they got worse. Stetsons family's worst nightmare came true when he did not come out of his very last seizure. This amazing kid is now free from these horrible seizures but his family needs our help. <br />Let's come together to help this amazing family cover their unexpected funeral expenses. They have done so much for others and now they need us! ❤️

Riley is a 19 month old little boy, and on Wednesday April 27th 2016 at 9:29 AM he was mauled by the neighbors dog while in the safety of his own back yard, after it managed to knock down a 6 foot wooden privacy fence slat, and grab him by his right arm with its teeth. Rileys attack was completely unprovoked and minutes before he was playing on the swing set, swinging back and forth on his belly. Riley's right arm was ripped open in several spots by the dogs teeth, as it attempted to drag him thru the gap in the fence by his arm into its own yard to do what we believe would have ended up being a fatal mauling. Thankfully hero dog Nala was right by his side in seconds and managed to force the attacking dog to let go. This gave me (his mother) just enough time to scoop him up and run to safety while at the same time dialing 911, desperately. <br /><br />Riley sustained 2 deep injuries, one to his upper arm that is about 5 inches long, and required many stitches to put back together. He also sustained a deep wound to his forearm that also required stitches to close, along with trails of teeth marks on his lower arm, bruising to his collar bone, rib cage, and splinters in his face from being forced violently and repeatedly against the wooden privacy fence by the dog trying to bring him back to his yard. <br /><br />We are a one income family, and Rileys dad is a local high school teacher. Since this has happened, we have had to buy medical supplies to take care of his injuries, buy his medication so that his bites do not become infected, pay child care costs for the other children, gas to get back and forth to his doctor, the hospital, attorney's office, etc. These are not expenses that we had in our strict budget, and until Rileys medical costs are reimbursed which could take months, were teetering on the edge of financial crisis. <br /><br />It's incredibly difficult to make this go fund me. Asking for help is not something that comes easily to neither Randy or I. But Rileys attack has had the ripple effect and it's began to interfere with our ability to provide. Anything helps, and we are eternally grateful. Rileys Recovery from mauling 

Jim Parker was working in Corrine, Utah on February 8, 2016, and had a stroke. He was rushed to Brigham City Hospital where he had more mini strokes. They intubated him and transferred him to Ogden Regional Hospital, where they did lots of tests. At first they he had afib (a heart rhythm abnormality) and it was causing blood clots that are traveling to his brain.  They actually found that he has a tear in an artery in his neck that may be the primary cause for the strokes.  Jim has been since moved to the U of U Stroke Center.  Jim was in I.C.U. for 12 days until he was stable enough to move him to the inpatient rehabilitation at the U of U.  "We are very optimistic that he will do very well, work hard like he always does and get home to us way before the 4 weeks they originally estimated.  We really appreciate all of the love and support we've received! It means the world to us!" (Wife Kendal Parker).  Please help by donating to the Parker's, all the money raised will go to help his family and cover Jim's medical expenses.

With Michael’s situation, enormous expenditures have been incurred and we desire to help and facilitate others to do likewise. On October 22nd, 2015 Marcos Delgado was tragically killed in a car accident while at work.  His loss was sudden and unexpected and has left so many heartbroken in its wake. Chance Doty was recently involved in an accident that sadly took his life. When a tragedy like this happens the family is still left to pick up the pieces.
