 I came across Alicia in Los Angeles selling peanuts &amp; snacks on the side of the road. I offered to pay for all of her products so she could go home. She instantly broke into tears and mentioned that she was afraid to be outside selling due to the heavy ICE presence in California right now. I personally gave her $2,000 in cash &amp; I’m starting this fundraiser to try and help alleviate her financial worries during this time. No one should be afraid to go to work, especially when making an honest living. Thank you in advance to everyone who donates to help Alicia. God bless. ❤️

<div>We’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when women come together — walking, talking, healing, and growing side by side. That spirit of unity inspired our next initiative...

<div>For our FINAL walk of Breast Cancer Awareness Month we will be raising money for "PROJECT DISCO BALL."

<div>Project Disco Ball is a South Florida-based nonprofit organization that brings joy, light, and comfort to cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Miami Cancer Institute. The organization's mission is to transform the infusion room experience into a more hopeful and uplifting environment through festive decorations and care packages.

<div>Donations to Project Disco Ball go directly to:

</div>
<div>Decorations: The organization uses donations to transform infusion rooms into more cheerful spaces with disco balls and other festive decorations, especially during the holidays.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Care bags: Funds are used to assemble and distribute gift bags for patients, which include items like lip balm, socks, ginger candies, and hydration products to help with treatment side effects.

</div>
<div>Spreading joy: Ultimately, donations are used to create moments of hope, light, and joy for cancer patients and their families during a difficult time.

<div>It was important for us to raise money for a cause making an impact locally. Thank you in advance for helping us bring joy, and care to the strong women of Miami in a fight for their lives.
