Alistair is a beautiful cat we encountered outdoors this winter. Although he appears well-fed, there are clear signs of injury and the challenges of outdoor living. As temperatures dropped to 20, we became very concerned for his health and well-being. Wanting to give him a chance at a safer, healthier life, we decided to trap him and get him the help he needs. The reason for this fundraiser is to cover Alistair’s initial veterinary care. He needed a thorough exam, sedation to make the process, a panel of recommended vaccines (rabies and FVRCP), a triple snap test, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory to prevent infection in his injured paws, a nail trim for everyone’s safety, neutr surgery, dewormer and anti-flea and, if needed, additional tests. These steps are essential to give Alistair the best shot at recovery and a brighter future. We ask you to circle up for this beautiful boy as we face care costs for his initial vetting.
