Help Us Save the Forgotten Street Dogs of Jamaica Hello, my name is Rebecca, and I am the founder of the FurEver Hope Foundation, a UK-based charity dedicated to helping the forgotten street dogs of Jamaica. We have and instagram page. The photographs you see here represent just a handful of the dogs whose lives we are trying to change. Behind every image is a heartbreaking story of hunger, neglect, disease, injury, and survival. Every day, countless street dogs in Jamaica wake up not knowing if they will find food, clean water, kindness, or even live to see another day. Many suffer from severe mange, painful tick and flea infestations, intestinal worms, untreated injuries, and abuse. Some are poisoned, beaten, or simply ignored because they have no one to protect them. At FurEver Hope Foundation, we believe every dog deserves compassion, safety, and the chance of a better life. Our mission is to provide: * Emergency food and clean water. * Tick, flea, and worming treatments. * Life-saving medical care and veterinary treatment. * Mange treatment for dogs suffering from painful skin disease. * Spaying and neutering to reduce the number of unwanted puppies born into suffering. * Safe feeding areas where vulnerable dogs can eat without fear. * Rescue, rehabilitation, and, wherever possible, loving forever homes. We don’t simply visit these dogs once—we return day after day, building trust, monitoring their health, and standing beside them when no one else will. Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly towards helping these vulnerable animals. Your generosity can provide a hungry dog with food, treat a puppy covered in parasites, pay for urgent veterinary care, or help rescue a dog from a life of suffering. Help Us Feed the Forgotten Street Dogs of Jamaica This Christmas By Rebecca — Founder of FurEver Hope Foundation (UK) Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I recently set up the Furever Hope Foundation, a UK-based charity dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating vulnerable dogs senior and disabled dogs that are simply overlooked In the UK, across Europe, and especially in Jamaica. For years, during my travels, I have seen the heartbreaking suffering that so many animals endure. The pain, fear, and hunger in their eyes stays with you. It is unbearable to witness and impossible to forget — and it’s why I started this mission. Why We Are Raising Funds Right now, I am raising money to buy urgently needed food for stray dogs in Jamaica. These dogs live on the streets with no one to care for them, and their daily reality is truly heartbreaking: • Dogs abused or beaten simply for searching for food • Dogs chopped in the neck with machetes because they are seen as pests • Hungry mother dogs unable to feed their puppies, many of which die from starvation • Dogs run over by vehicles as they wander the streets looking for scraps • Countless dogs going to sleep hungry, thin, and terrified No animal should suffer like this — not anywhere, and certainly not because they are simply hungry. Our Mission in Jamaica We have compassionate volunteers in Jamaica who go out every single evening to feed these dogs. They wait for us. They come together at safe feeding points. They rely on us. But we need food. And food costs money. We work with trusted local distributors to purchase large amounts of dog food — but we can only continue as long as we have the funding.
