Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I want to give my 12-year-old daughter, Annabella, a chance to hit the 'reset' button this summer. Life at home hasn't always been easy. Annabella has unfortunately grown up around a lot of conflict and hasn't always seen the kind of love and peace every child deserves. Over the last year, I’ve watched my once sweet girl start to pull away. She spends most of her time locked in her room on her phone, struggling to get along with her sister, and pushing back against us at home and her teachers at school. She’s not a bad kid by any means—she’s just lost and confused, and it breaks my heart to see her so isolated. Because we haven't had much of a religious foundation, she’s hesitant to talk about God—and I don’t want to force it on her. I want her to discover His love for herself, in an environment where she feels safe, happy, and surrounded by kids her own age. I am raising money to send her to Kanakuk Christian camp in Branson, MO. My hope is that getting her away from her phone and the stress of home will allow her to breathe, smile, and learn about faith in a way that feels natural to her. I want her to see that there is a different way to live—one filled with kindness and grace. The funds will cover the registration, gear, and travel to get her there.
