<div>Makai is a vibrant, joyful, and loving 9-year-old boy who has brought happiness to everyone around him. On December 10th, his life took a tragic turn when he was involved in a freak accident, sustaining burns to 55% of his body. He is now in critical condition, fighting for his life at Goodwill Hospital in Dominica.
