We too have been faced with the unflinching honesty that makes this story play crucial today. We were five disparate souls who found deeper connection through this play. We too have said we’re fine and known it was a lie. Due to COVID, we all know what life is like without human connection and we also know the lengths we will go to to find this connection and keep it alive. We’re inviting you to come see what it means to live with the contradiction of knowing you’re lonely and yet refusing to take the hands offered out to you. A theater in the heart of midtown with a space perfect for our Dublin bed-sit. An intimate experience for the whole audience. This theater meets all of our artistic goals but we need to pay $7000 just to be able to perform here. Plus we have to get insurance to make sure our team and the audience are protected.<br /><br /> PAYING THE ARTISTS - $9850<br />It’s no secret that theater doesn’t bring in the big bucks; but we have a fantastic team assembled both on and off stage that deserve a living wage. We are committed to paying our artists fairly for the work they do. <br /><br /> SET, PROPS, AND COSTUMES - $3500-$4000<br />Truth be told, The Night Alive requires over 100 props - from appliances to fake whiskey to cowboy books to toilet plungers to a whole lot of battered sausage… we’ve got a  whole world to fill.<br /><br /> MARKETING - $2200-$2500<br />Our producers, actors, and creative team have put countless hours into this production; with more still to come. We want to get the word out to as many people as possible in as many ways as possible so we can get butts in those theater seats!<br /><br />TECHNICAL CREW - $2000<br />The people behind the scenes are part of the show because it simply couldn’t go on without them. <div>With great sadness, the family shares the news that David died early in the morning on July 21, 2022. There are still considerable complications and costs to getting David home. Certainly, there will be celebrations of life in Michigan and Georgia, but we can't even think that far ahead. David Schneberger was on the Amalfi Coast in Italy when he took a 50 ft. fall on June 13th. He sustained the following injuries: A brain bleed, seven fractured ribs, collapsed and bruised lungs, a dislocated hip and a broken ankle. He was airlifted to a hospital in Italy, where he remains in Intensive Care today. His daughter and her mother are there, meeting with the doctors daily. We expect David will be in Italy for at least another month before returning to the U.S. One or two of his family will be staying nearby to stay up to date on his care and be his advocate. Medical and transportation costs will be astronomical. The family would greatly appreciate any generosity on your part.

<p>For six years, Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) has built a community in the South amongst Black and brown queer and trans artists and organizers!<br /><br />To date, we have organized a total of 7 festivals in Atlanta, GA and Durham, NC; convening over 60 performers, artists, and educators and 2,000 attendees from throughout the South. Annually, SFQP hosts over 60 events and actions, from marches and community conversations to gallery shows, stage productions, and more. SFQP uplifts Southern queer culture; a culture that is so often overlooked by mainstream media. The time has come for more.<br /><br />SFQP needs your help and partnership to establish a Black queer &amp; trans owned community space/center in Atlanta, GA. Our community is vibrant, resilient, and robust, but lacks brick and mortar spaces to commune, heal, and build. Community centers can play a direct role in providing safe, affirming spaces for Black and brown queer and trans folks, young people, disabled folks, and others marginalized by systemic injustice and lack of infrastructure to thrive. We want to build a space where people have the freedom to grow as individuals, artists, and organizers.

<span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);">Hi, my name is M (closeted enby, fingering out my new name still so M for now) this gofundme serves to assisted me during my time creating a successful print business while I break from the job world as the over-working, underpaid, and transphobic-racist working conditions destroyed my mental health and was tough on my physical well being.  Thus go fund me serves in helping me paying off tax debt, credit card debt, personal loan debt, student loans, rent, build savings, access mental health support and other survival needs.  I use much of the funds to pay rent, unexpected expanses, food, and marketing or assist my family for example when my brother died or COVID, food, etc and it became increasingly impossible to fulfill the goal in a timely manner because of this + lack of financial management I had to readjust when I pay them off and will need assistance monthly with rent + </span><span style="color:rgb(127,127,127);">tax</span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);"> debt when my art business isn’t doing well and right now it’s been incredibly slower. <p><br />I couldn’t seem to find a reason why I have the right to ask for your help. Couldn’t decipher whether I was feeling pride or shame. I’ve found it to be a strange mixture of both, but I’ve decided to assign my ego to the backseat lol.

<p>I really need help, I have had a goal of top surgery for years now. No matter how I tried to deny, ignore, or come to terms with it the dysphoria surrounding my chest is an ongoing agonizing separation from self. However this was going to be the year! I made a promise to myself that no matter what this year I was gonna do it, I was going to stop telling myself I hated who I was at every glance at my reflection. I was going to stop taping my chest up first thing in the morning, and grimacing as I leave scars behind to remove it at the end of the night. I am exhausted trying to make my huge, proud identity fit into a body that makes me feel.. so small. I want to be free. <br /><br />So I got the right insurance; I got the right letters; I even saved up as much as I could. I thought all that was left to do was wait... After COVID pushing my approval and causing my documents to expire, after reattempting 6 months after my first applications, after waiting patiently and forking over 400 dollars a month for an insurance that did me no good- I was denied, and back to square one. <br /><br />I’m not sure I’m strong enough to wait much longer without losing myself. I’m always trying my very best to stay positive, because I’m terrified of slipping back into the dark place I was before I found hope. <br /><br />So I’m going to look to all of you to find it again. Friends, Family, friendly internet strangers... I have a goal of $10,000 to cover the minimum balance that my double mastectomy will cost and if you could help it would absolutely change my world.
