</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mia tiene solo 5 años.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hace unas semanas, nuestra vida cambió de golpe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Y quizá por eso duele tanto.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No estamos buscando milagros.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Estamos buscando tiempo.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tiempo para que siga siendo Mia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tiempo para seguir descubriendo el mundo.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>El desafío es económico.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gracias por leer nuestra historia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Con cariño,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Airam, Colin y Mia
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>----
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Radioterapia: ~60%
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Medicamentos y tratamientos: ~15%
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />

</li>
</ul>

<div># Help Us Give Mia More Time to Keep Discovering the World
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, I'm Airam, and this is Mia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mia is only 5 years old.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Five years may sound like a long time in some situations, but to us, it feels far too short. These are only the first chapters of a life that still had so much left to discover: more walks, more lizards to chase, more afternoons sunbathing on the terrace, more people to meet, more adventures, and more moments with the family who loves her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A few weeks ago, our lives changed overnight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mia began having strange episodes that no one could explain. What seemed like an isolated incident quickly turned into a desperate search for answers. We went through emergency visits, blood tests, cardiac exams, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, urine tests, ultrasounds, and consultations with multiple specialists.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For weeks, we lived between uncertainty and hope, trying to understand what was happening.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Finally, an MRI gave us the answer we never imagined we would hear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mia has a large brain tumor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The specialists explained that tumors like this often grow silently over many months and that, in most cases, there is no identifiable cause and nothing we could have done to prevent it. The closest explanation we have is one of the hardest to accept: simply bad genetic luck.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of the tumor's location, a biopsy would carry very high risks, so the specialists are working with a presumptive diagnosis of glioma. Hearing those words was devastating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The hardest part is that until very recently, Mia was still completely herself. She was still chasing lizards on her walks, getting excited to go outside and explore the world, sunbathing on the terrace, begging for chicken, tacos, and any opportunity to be close to the people she loves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And maybe that's why this hurts so much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because when we look at Mia, we don't see a diagnosis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We see our companion.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A little dog who still has so much joy, curiosity, and love for life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After starting palliative treatment, something happened that gave us hope again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mia responded incredibly well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She started walking enthusiastically again. She returned to her favorite activities. She became herself again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks to that positive response, her specialists opened a possibility that initially seemed out of reach: specialized radiation therapy that could help control the tumor's growth and give her more time with a good quality of life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know there are no guarantees.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are not looking for a miracle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are looking for time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Time for Mia to keep being Mia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Time for more walks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More afternoons in the sun.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More treats.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More visits from her human and dog friends.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More moments together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More opportunities to keep discovering the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The challenge is financial.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Between specialist consultations, emergency visits, MRI scans, diagnostic testing, hospitalizations, medications, and initial treatments, we have already exhausted our emergency savings.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To continue with the treatment plan recommended by her specialists—including radiation therapy, neurological follow-up, medications, and ongoing care—we need to raise between $200,000 and $250,000 MXN.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can help by donating or sharing this campaign, you will be helping give Mia the chance to continue collecting good days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping us fight for more time for a little dog who still has so much love to give, so many lizards left to chase, and so much of the world left to discover.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love,
</div>
<div><br />
