El Segundo Youth Cheer JV is raising funds to facilitate their 2026 competition season. For this team, community fundraising is what makes competition possible. Support from donors helps cover the essential costs of practice facilities, equipment, competition fees, and lodging for cheerleaders and coaches while they travel to compete. Without this support, there would be no opportunity for the team to take the mat and participate in the season they have trained for.

These competitions are where ESYC gets to showcase the skills they have refined all season long. Just as importantly, cheer teaches these athletes how to trust one another, work with a true team mentality, discover the edge of their capabilities, and build resilience through every practice and performance. These core values help our cheerleaders grow into capable and empowered young women. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make those opportunities real for this team. If you are able, please consider giving to support ESYC and sharing this fundraiser with others to help broaden its reach. Your kindness and encouragement mean so much to these cheerleaders and the community behind them.

Hello everyone,

This is Dino Bell and I am fundraising for my brother, Kerwin Bell. In late April, Kerwin was found unresponsive in his home. After being examined by hospital professionals, it was determined that Kerwin suffered a devastating stroke that has affected his mobility, speech, and cognition. He is still being monitored and cared for at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. He is currently dealing with a lapse in insurance, he is unable to work, and our family needs support to be able to send him to a rehabilitation center that can address his urgent needs. All proceeds will go towards making the transition from the hospital to a local facility in Kansas, which is where his family resides. Any amount helps, and the family thanks you for the support.

Help Kerwin Bell Recover from His Stroke

My heart is heavy as I share that my dad went home to be with Jesus this Christmas Eve, Flo and I were with him. He wasn't alone. I'm so incredibly grateful Flo has been by his side every single day. While we grieve the loss, along with so many of those lives he's touched, we know he loved Jesus, and he's with Jesus, my sister, his mom and so many more people he loved, he’s now in perfect peace.

We will share details soon about a Wake and a Celebration of Life to honor him. Please continue to keep my family (Flo included) in your thoughts and prayers during this time. ❤️

I've had some people want to donate, since all of these costs are on me as dad lived in the moment & had nothing set aside for passing, if you'd like to donate, here's a go fund me link. The plan is to use the funds for cremation, private family memorial, keeping dad's website & company active so his legacy can continue, etc.

I've had people request to venmo instead, here's a venmo that will also go toward the costs: BrittneyKincannon

Danny Bennett's HEART OF GOLD needs our support!

Backstory:
In September 2019 he had TAVR heart valve replacement surgery (he would tell you it's the same procedure that Mick Jagger had).
In January he had a hip replacement surgery and was recovering well.

Current Happenings:
Over President's day weekend he became very ill and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital, where they admitted him.

After days of waiting on tests, we now know the new heart valve has a serious infection. To make matters even more serious, there are fragments of the infection (debris) breaking free from the heart valve and traveling through his bloodstream to his brain. This has caused a mini-stroke already and he's suffering from short term memory confusion.

Steps to Recovery:
In hopes for a full recovery, he faces 6-8 weeks on these strong IV antibiotics and another possible heart procedure.

Please help us lighten his financial burden as our Dad recovers and isn't able to work.

Those who know him know what a true heart of gold he has! His nurses love him so much that they don't want their shift to end. He keeps them all laughing and asks them how they are doing, while he is the sick one. He is a true people person. He’s always willing to lend a hand and help anyone. Doesn’t matter where you come from or what mistakes you might have made. He sees the best in everyone.

Thank you for your support, big or small, we are forever grateful for all the prayers, love, and support!

With love, his daughters, Annie & Katherine

Dad with his first grandbaby, Bennett Jorgensen

Dad with the kids at his favorite, Sonny's in San Clemente.

Danny Bennett's Heart of Gold

The Camp Fire in Paradise, CA has been devastating. My sister Shannon, my brother-in-law, and their two children (5 & almost 9) lost almost everything they had in a matter of hours. While they have not been back in yet, based on information they have received, the loss of their house is a virtual certainty. The hospital where my brother-in-law worked was destroyed. Schools are gone, and the fire was so fast-moving, there was not even enough time to get personal property out of the home. They fled their house with necessary documents and a couple of backpacks; everything else was destroyed. With their home gone, their jobs gone, and minimal personal property saved, the rebuilding and likely relocation will be lengthy and costly. Times are tight, but every little bit helps. Thank you in advance for any help and support you can provide to my family in their time of need.

Shannon and Family

My mother, Debra, and her fiancé, Mark, are in Panama City where Hurricane Michael ripped through the town and most of the Panhandle. They had a tree fall down and come through their laundry room, which also caused flooding in their home. My mother’s car also suffered some damage. They still have no power or water and have to drive out to other towns to just shower and get supplies. Most of the Panhandle is a wasteland which means they are out of work for the foreseeable future putting a huge financial strain on them with all that just happened. Any donations to help them get their lives back together after this catastrophe would be greatly appreciated.
