My friend Josue has always been the kind of person who helps others, even when he doesn't have much himself. We met a year ago at work, and from the very beginning, he went out of his way to help me, even though we were strangers. That's just who he is—someone who steps up for others, whether it's friends, coworkers, or his country as a Marine.
Right now, Josue is going through a really tough time. He recently lost his job, and most of his last paycheck went straight to rent. His two older dogs are running low on food, and with no income at the moment, things feel overwhelming. But what hurts the most is that his only son's wedding is coming up, and Josue can't afford to travel or offer any help for this special day. Instead of sharing in the excitement and planning, he's weighed down by worry and sadness. I can't imagine how hard it would be for him to miss such an important milestone in his son's life.
I've been able to help a little with his dogs, but now I'm reaching out to anyone who can relate to Josue's situation. With your support, we can help him be by his son's side on his wedding day and make sure his dogs are cared for. Anything you can give will make a difference and is truly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read Josue's story and for any help you can offer.
