A few months ago, Eli and his son, Owen, had to flee in the middle of the night after being attacked by Owen’s other biological parent. Since then, Eli has been doing everything he can to set them up with a good life and the other parent has been trying to destroy that. We are now at the point where Eli must fight in court to protect Owen as well as himself, but in spite of all the phone numbers and websites he has been provided with, he must now retain a lawyer and the only ones getting back to him require a retainer. Perhaps you have been through something like this before. Perhaps someone you love has survived something like this.
