My name is W, i’m 23 years old and i’m trying to raise funds for my boyfriend’s(24) top surgery. Because of the way our economy is right now, it is extremely hard to save up for top surgery without a good health insurance, which we both cannot access or afford. Getting this surgery for them would take so much weight off their shoulders and overall contribute to a better quality of life and get rid of so much stress surrounding their transition. they don’t think they will ever get this surgery and I want to help him as much as I can to get him that chance. If you can’t donate, please share. On your stories or with friends. Every bit helps. To better understand who you’d be donating to, I want to tell you the kind of person he is: My partner and I have been together for 11 months, one year in June. He was and is my first serious relationship. I’ve never loved anyone like this before. Both of us are trans and we support each other and understand the same struggles we face by being trans. Through out our relationship, he was understanding when I told him I was scared of intimacy. He helped me through my anxieties and is patient and caring. He drives almost an hour almost every time we see each other because I cannot drive yet. 3 months ago I was able to get top surgery through my dads insurance, and he was there the day before, the day of, and 5 days after to be there for me and take care of me while i recovered. He’s seen me at my worst and picked me back up. He’s gone through so much hard ships, things I could never imagine. To get this surgery would mean the world. Especially in the state America is in right now, we’re not sure if we’ll be able to get any gender affirming care soon, which we’re very scared and worried about. He takes care of everyone and this time I want to help take care of them. He doesn’t know i’m doing this and I want to keep his identity anonymous because I don’t think he’d like his face public right now. But he is the love of my life, and I want to do everything in my power to help him get this surgery. Even if it takes years. Please consider to donate or share. Thank you!
