My mother has been fighting stage 3 colon cancer for the past three years. She bravely went through a year of chemotherapy, and for a while, we hoped she was in the clear. Unfortunately, we recently learned that the cancer has spread to her bloodstream, and she now faces a second round of chemotherapy. This news has been incredibly difficult for our family, but my mom continues to show strength and determination every day. One of the biggest challenges she faces is getting to her medical appointments. Her vehicle is breaking down, and she relies solely on SSI to cover her living expenses. With chemotherapy appointments every two weeks and other doctor visits, having reliable transportation is essential for her health and well-being. I live in a different state, so I am unable to take her myself, which makes this situation even more urgent. I am asking for help from anyone who can support this fundraiser.
