<div>
 Our beautiful daughter, Phoebe, is just two years old, yet she has already faced more than most people will in a lifetime.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Phoebe was born with Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS), a rare genetic condition that causes bone marrow failure and leaves her unable to fight infections like other children. After countless hospital admissions, blood transfusions, medications and procedures, she underwent a lifesaving stem cell transplant in June 2026.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We hoped the transplant would be the beginning of a healthier future, but Phoebe is now battling a serious adenovirus infection while her new immune system is still developing. Although she is receiving treatment, the virus has been incredibly difficult to control.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 There are treatments available that could give Phoebe the best possible chance of overcoming this infection, including virus-specific T-cell therapy and BCV (brincidofovir). These treatments are not always routinely available, and in some cases families may need to access them privately or overseas at enormous cost.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We never imagined we would find ourselves asking for help, but we would do absolutely anything to give our little girl the greatest chance of growing up healthy.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every donation, no matter how small, will go towards:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 * Accessing advanced treatments such as virus-specific T-cell therapy or BCV if needed.
</div>
<div>
 * Travel and accommodation if treatment is only available outside the UK.
</div>
<div>
 * Medical costs that are not covered through routine NHS care.
</div>
<div>
 * Supporting Phoebe throughout her recovery.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If we are fortunate enough that these funds are not needed for Phoebe’s treatment, every remaining penny will be donated to charities supporting children with Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome and families facing stem cell transplantation.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you are unable to donate, simply sharing Phoebe’s story would mean the world to us.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for standing beside our family during the hardest time of our lives. Your kindness, generosity and support give us hope every single day.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 With love,
</div>
