<div>Today I open my heart to share a situation that has deeply impacted our family. My dad is fighting a medical condition called myasthenia gravis, a disease that severely affects his muscles and his ability to perform basic tasks.

<div>These past two years have been a test of faith, strength, and endurance that only God has been able to sustain.

<div>Despite all efforts and care, his condition has progressed, and he has had to begin chemotherapy in hopes to reset his immune system.  He is now on his fourth cycle, in addition to receiving weekly plasma treatments to help keep his body stable.

<div>Each procedure is exhausting and painful, but my dad continues forward with unwavering faith, trusting that God has the final word.

</div>

<div>This situation has deeply affected our family life as well as our financial stability. Their ice cream shop, Jungle Kone, had to close, and their church also had to relocate.

</div>

<div>Although we continue working with dedication and hope, the medical expenses keep increasing in a way we can no longer cover on our own.

Funeral (viewing) funds for our Step-Dad

<p>Many of us had the privilege of having known this beautiful woman!  Patty was always joyful and loving!  She had an amazing spirit!  She was taken from us unexpectedly today.  She was only 39 years old.  We are heartbroken.  She leaves behind her husband, Carlos and her two children, Carlos Jr, 19 and Amy, 15.  They weren’t ready for this tragedy, no one expected her to go.  She was a strong woman of faith who loved God and always left joy where ever  she went.  Today she is in the presence of God.  Please help us.  Your donation will help to cover the funeral costs.

Saying goodbye to Patty, an amazing woman!
