I am a single mom raising a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. Life has been challenging, especially since I became disabled and unable to work after three back surgeries. My condition, Cauda Equina Syndrome, has left me numb in most of my body and dealing with incontinence issues. Despite these difficulties, my children are my biggest help and support. We love spending time together, watching movies, and playing games, and their care means the world to me. I rent an apartment and receive government assistance, including Section 8, but it’s still tough to make ends meet. My goal is to set my children up financially and eventually buy a home for us. Improving my credit is a big step toward that dream, and I am also trying to go back to school to create more opportunities for our family. The funds raised will help us with daily expenses, work toward home ownership, and provide stability for my kids. If it wasn’t for my children’s support, I would be lost.
