A Fresh Start: Help Me Find a New Home After nearly nine years in the same rental home, I have recently learned that my landlord is selling the house. This has left me facing an unexpected move after nearly a decade of calling this place home. This house has been my home for nine years. I have worked hard, paid my rent, cared for the property, and built my life here. But now I have to find somewhere else to live, and I simply don’t have the savings needed to make a move. Moving requires much more than just a security deposit. I need money for a deposit, first month’s rent, moving expenses, transportation, utility deposits and the many unexpected costs that come with starting over. With no savings available to me right now, I feel completely overwhelmed. I am not asking for a handout because I don’t want to work or take care of myself. I work and have always tried to handle my own responsibilities. I’m asking because I have reached a point where I genuinely need help getting through a major life transition that I cannot afford by myself. My goal is to raise $6,000, which I believe will give me enough to secure a new place and cover the major expenses involved in moving. Every donation, no matter the amount, would bring me one step closer to having a new home and being able to start over. If you aren’t able to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser privately with someone who may be able to help would mean so much to me. As difficult as it is for me to ask for help, I am trying to look at this as an opportunity for a fresh start. I just need a little help getting there.
