<div>I am a SAHM without the option to work right now. My boyfriend does work, but his job was recently bought out within the past few months, and they cut his hours and don’t allow overtime. So, we are living paycheck to paycheck while he is saving up and working on transitioning to doing subcontracting. <strong>My son and I just got the news on 5/2/2026 that his father, who lives in Florida, was given 6 months to live.</strong> I would love to be able to take my son to Florida to spend time with his father before he passes and doesn’t get the chance again. We haven’t been able to take him since 2024 to see his father due to myself not being able to work and the loss of extra income. <strong>We ONLY have the chance to take him to see his dad over the summer due to the school district here being so strict about absences.</strong> In order to take him to Florida, I would also have to take my two daughters, who are 1 and 3, while my boyfriend stays home to work.

<div>My son’s father has been living in Fort Myers, Florida, since my son was about 2. He was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer in 2022, when my son started kindergarten, and has been fighting it since. The cancer has spread to many of his other organs and has caused many complications over the years. The news we just got is that it’s causing liver failure. His father has yellowing of the eyes and skin starting. While he was given 6 months, we don’t know if it will be less or more time.

Give My Son a Last Visit with His Dad

<div>Hi all, we are the family of <strong>Chrissy and Josh</strong>, both of whom were severely affected by Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, they saw the worst of the hurricane and have lost everything to the storm. Their apartment had three feet of water in it, and both of their vehicles were totaled in the hurricane.

<div><strong>This will go directly to getting them a place to stay and cars to drive while they try to recover from the storm.</strong> Anything helps, and they (and their fur babies) sincerely appreciate anything you have to help!

Help Restore Stability for Chrissy and Josh

<div>Conway Architectural Salvage and Heritage Project is a nonprofit dedicated to reinvesting Horry County’s historic used building materials, especially the wood, back into our communities.
</div>

<div>We do this by
</div>
<ul>
<li>Deconstructing homes that have been determined to be beyond repair 
</li>
<li>Recording the process live to recreate deconstructed buildings in VR format, to appear alongside the written history of the structures and the people who gave them life
</li>
<li>Processing the recovered materials (denailing, measuring, etc.) 
</li>
<li>And providing equal access to these materials for reuse in our community
</li>
</ul>

<div>We will be working with community partners, such as Coastal Carolina University, in these endeavors.
</div>

<div>We now ask for your support, starting with donations of any amount.

<div>This money will go to the refurbishment of Conway’s historic lumberyard, McIver-Shaw Lumber Co., established in 1946. This yard will soon serve as our base of operations!

<div>William Foxworth suddenly passed away in his sleep at home nestled byside his wife. He is survived by his lovely wife, Jennifar Foxworth and dynamtic daugther Isyss. Will was loving and a dedicated father, husband, and community leader. He was a proud owner of Our Kids Create, geared towards helping our children in the community. The impact he made in the lives of those around him was everlasting and full of love. His absence is felt by everyone that knew him. Those that is looking for ways to help the family get through this difficult time, we are asking for donations to assist with the family expenses in preparation. Thank you, we love you
