At just 21 months old, Enzo was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. What should have been a childhood filled with play, laughter, and ordinary milestones became years of chemotherapy, hospital stays, and fighting for his life.
After finishing his initial treatment, we hoped the hardest part was behind us. But in November 2025, Enzo’s leukemia returned, leading to another month in the hospital.
From March through June 2026, he spent nearly 90 more days hospitalized for his first bone marrow transplant. The chemotherapy was incredibly difficult, leaving him unable to eat, suffering from painful mouth sores, and dependent on IV nutrition.
When that transplant failed, he had to start all over again. On June 1, 2026, Enzo received his second bone marrow transplant.
Now, at just five years old, his leukemia has returned again.
He is facing his second relapse, receiving chemotherapy and preparing for CAR-T cell therapy.
Through all of this, Enzo has remained the sweetest little boy who just wants to be a kid. In so many ways, we think of Pinocchio—wishing to become a “real boy.”
Enzo doesn’t wish for anything extraordinary. He wants to go to school, play, laugh, make memories, and live a childhood that isn’t defined by cancer.
I am unable to work because Enzo requires 24/7 care, leaving my husband as the only one able to work. Donations help our family manage the ongoing costs of this journey, including food, gas, travel to the hospital, medical expenses, and the small comforts that help Enzo through long and painful days.
They also help us care for Enzo and his 15-month-old brother, Rowan, while we navigate the constant financial strain of treatment.
If you are able to donate, share Enzo’s story, or simply keep him in your thoughts, we are incredibly grateful. Your support is helping give Enzo the chance to come home, put the hospitals behind him, and finally just be a little boy.
