Lisa is currently fighting Stage 4 inoperable Metastatic Chest Wall cancer, which has grown to a significant size and spread to many distant organs and areas of her body. This diagnosis has changed her life in ways she never could have imagined, and the journey ahead is daunting. The emotional and physical toll is immense, but the financial burden is just as overwhelming. Most of Lisa's treatment options are holistic.  This is quite costly, and includes the tonic that she makes herself.  If/when Lisa is able to shrink the tumor to a manageable size, she will need to travel to Jacksonville, FL, for surgery with the only board-certified doctor close enough who can perform the complex chest wall resection. This means not only medical expenses, but also travel, a week in the hospital, and many months of recovery. Every step of this process comes with significant costs that Lisa simply cannot manage alone. Lisa is deeply grateful to everyone who has encouraged her to open up and allow this fundraiser. It is humbling to ask for help, but she knows she cannot do this without the support of her community.
